I can be wrong, but I think that 'Howdy' is actually talking for Bray. As I remember, the original story was leading to an Wyatt vs Howdy at WrestleMania 39. In the feud with LA Knight, Bray opened the door. He was fighting against his dark and evil past against Howdy. That's why Howdy at some point did an Sister Abigail to Bray. To force him in revel in what he was, to take the mask off, and when he would do it it would feel so good. Words from Howdy when Bray was in his feud. Now the door was opened and left for them.
