I was new to Greek Yogurt and started eating them earlier this year (2024). I'm a ice cream person so I wasn't used to Yogurt more or less Greek Yogurt. But here is what I learned & others may need to know (to the best of my knowledge). I had to get the Zero Sugar type (for my health concerns). 1) My dietitian told me to get Chobani because it was the healthiest closest to organic with the most live and active cultures that do wonders for your health out of all the brands. But she said any Greek Yogurt (because that is the healthiest yogurt) is the healthiest type of yogurt but for me with Zero Sugar because of dietary restrictions. 2) I have tried several brands from Chobani to Danone's Oikos. Most will have the dry powdery & water at the top, that is Not a bad thing & is actually excellent. It is just natural separation that happens with most products especially dairy. What that stuff is Whey from the milk. *(Health food stores charge a lot of money for it to sell to fitness people, there is a different process for it & they do it in bulk. Your not going to get any money from yours that's in the yogurt. 😂). If you don't see a protective plastic film on top like some brands, it is still good Chobani uses only a silver foil to seal the container. Actually better than the ones with the plastic film on top because it allows it to separate. The plastic film protection ones are not as healthy. Because the reason they don't separate is that they are more processed to stop it from separating so you lose some nutritional benefits. 3) There are 2 methods well 3 if you don't want to mix it and eat it right away which is cool if you like to do it that way. But to mix it there are two methods. 1 - Shake the entire container thoroughly and then stir with a spoon. or 2 - Stir the entire container thoroughly with a spoon until the Greek Yogurt is smooth and has a silky texture. 4) If it's spoiled you will see mold & smell funky not like the flavor the particular one you picked. Example you choose peach but there is no peach smell & smells like mildew. 🟢 Update: I tried recently different types (a little cheat from my diet) and on some the silver foil that comes off it states on it to lick the silver foil and scrap the sides and stir with a spoon. So basically they are stating that, that stuff (the water & whey separation) is a okay to eat or as I mentioned okay to mixed in using whatever method you like to mixed it whether shaken before opening or stirring with a spoon. 😃

i hope God puts marxists on a marxist world for six years. instead of fixing capitalism and the republic, and yourselves, God is even willing to help you, you instead rip down the world, instal mother father figures and happily let someone tell you how to live your life, while saying every step of the way that you are not doing that. you don't need a marxist world, you need someone to help you build yourself up inside like your parents were supposed to do.

Oh look, a "strong woman of color" with a fatherless child, who runs it all in her jumpsuit, cause she "needs no man" huh? And not a single masculine man in sight, but a gay couple and some soy boys. Yeah, nah. As a woman you can miss me with this agenda and most of you would clown on the amish, who actually live in tune with nature and dont polute anything, but you praise this and complain about the state of the world.

Origins and Historical Development of Yogurt Yogurt holds an important place among fermented dairy products and has been consumed in various forms across many cultures throughout history. The origins and historical development of yogurt are well-documented, with evidence suggesting its strong ties to Turkish culture. The most compelling evidence includes its mention in the "Divanü Lügati't-Türk" and the success of Turkish entrepreneur Hamdi Ulukaya in popularizing yogurt in the United States. Pliny the Elder and Fermented Milk Products Pliny the Elder (Gaius Plinius Secundus), a Roman naturalist and historian, lived in the 1st century AD. In his work "Naturalis Historia," he discusses how various cultures processed milk and the health benefits of fermented milk products. While Pliny refers to fermented milk products that resemble modern yogurt, it is not certain if he was describing yogurt as we know it today. He specifically mentions the "Scythians" consuming fermented milk products (Pliny the Elder, "Naturalis Historia," Book 28, Chapter 9). Divanü Lügati't-Türk and Yogurt One of the earliest written references to the word "yogurt" is found in "Divanü Lügati't-Türk," written by Kaşgarlı Mahmud between 1072 and 1074. This work is considered the first dictionary of the Turkish language, and it defines yogurt as "Yōġurt: Solidified milk; yogurt." (Kaşgarlı Mahmud, "Divanü Lügati't-Türk"). This definition shows that yogurt has been known and consumed by Turks for a long time. French King and Turkish Yogurt The introduction of yogurt to Europe dates back to the 16th century. French King Francis I consumed yogurt sent by the Ottoman Empire to treat his stomach ailments. This event contributed to yogurt's recognition and spread in Europe (Rodinson, M. (2006). "Food in the Muslim World." In K. C. Chang (Ed.), "Food in Chinese Culture." New Haven: Yale University Press). Yogurt Consumption in Turkey Throughout history, yogurt has been a staple in Turkish cuisine. It is commonly consumed with various dishes and sold by the kilogram. Traditionally, yogurt was homemade and has been an integral part of the daily diet. Hamdi Ulukaya and the Success of Chobani A key figure in introducing and popularizing yogurt in the United States is Turkish entrepreneur Hamdi Ulukaya, the founder of Chobani. Ulukaya founded Chobani in 2005 after purchasing a defunct yogurt plant in New York. His brand quickly achieved significant success. Hamdi Ulukaya, born and raised in Erzincan, Turkey, later immigrated to the United States. In 2005, he bought a yogurt plant that Kraft Foods had decided to shut down and started his own yogurt brand. Under the Chobani label, he produced Greek-style yogurt, known for its thick texture and high protein content. Chobani launched its first products in 2007 and rapidly gained popularity. With the increasing demand for healthy and high-protein products among American consumers, Chobani's success soared. Today, Chobani is one of the largest yogurt producers in the United States. “The works of the roots of the vines, of the trees, must be destroyed to keep up the price, and this is the saddest, bitterest thing of all. Carloads of oranges dumped on the ground. The people came for miles to take the fruit, but this could not be. How would they buy oranges at twenty cents a dozen if they could drive out and pick them up? And men with hoses squirt kerosene on the oranges, and they are angry at the crime, angry at the people who have come to take the fruit. A million people hungry, needing the fruit- and kerosene sprayed over the golden mountains. And the smell of rot fills the country. Burn coffee for fuel in the ships. Burn corn to keep warm, it makes a hot fire. Dump potatoes in the rivers and place guards along the banks to keep the hungry people from fishing them out. Slaughter the pigs and bury them, and let the putrescence drip down into the earth. There is a crime here that goes beyond denunciation. There is a sorrow here that weeping cannot symbolize. There is a failure here that topples all our success. The fertile earth, the straight tree rows, the sturdy trunks, and the ripe fruit. And children dying of pellagra must die because a profit cannot be taken from an orange. And coroners must fill in the certificate- died of malnutrition- because the food must rot, must be forced to rot. The people come with nets to fish for potatoes in the river, and the guards hold them back; they come in rattling cars to get the dumped oranges, but the kerosene is sprayed. And they stand still and watch the potatoes float by, listen to the screaming pigs being killed in a ditch and covered with quick-lime, watch the mountains of oranges slop down to a putrefying ooze; and in the eyes of the people there is the failure; and in the eyes of the hungry there is a growing wrath. In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage.” ― John Steinbeck, The Grapes of Wrath

@NeraCicero You're right. Usually, it's dead or dying mothers. Miyazaki revisits the tragedy of childhood. But "Up on Poppy Hill".. "EarthSea" has missing or dying fathers. That's Gorro visions of his future.
