Strange that you included Baby Face Nelson but overlooked John Dillinger, Bonnie and Clyde, and Pretty Boy Floyd, who were also killed in 1934. If you didn't want to go down that road you should've left Baby Face out.

Honorable Mention: Renowned German actor, Werner Stocker, perhaps best known for his role of Darius, the 2,000 year old immortal priest in Highlander: The Series. He died May 27, 1993 from a brain tumor. He was only 38 years old.

The practice of medicine added to our lifespan. Many things that were incurable then are easily cured now. Also, treatments for chronic conditions keeps us alive longer.

The internet says Ressel Orla died after a long illness. But she did seem to have a tragic story that seemed much more common back then.
