Very useful for seeing fish movements. I can see using it to decide what to target at a given time and area. Or, use it to figure out where to go and when to go for a desired species. Jan 11, the day before my birthday. Gotta be a sign, sushi for my birthday dinner!

Love your videos. We fish out of Oriental. Did that shark have a red tag on his dorsal?
@Fishingstatus4 жыл бұрын
Thank you. I did not see it when I released the fish, but to be honest I was looking at the teeth instead of the dorsal. But it does look like a tag in the video. Good eye.

How can I manually input gps coordinates on an SD card using HumminbirdPC then import it to my Humminbird unit?
@Fishingstatus4 жыл бұрын
Add in HumminbirdPC via File > New File to create new file, then File > New Waypoint and edit. Can look at the HumminbordPC manual as well, then follow the video at the 1 minute 15 second mark.

@@Fishingstatus Would I need to export the existing waypoints that are already on my unit on an SD card then add the new waypoints via HumminbirdPC?

@@ytpisces75 Not necessary, but helpful to have copy of all spots on PC as backup.

*used this on a trip to canada>>>**allabout.wiki/tcue** and was super happy with it. To not only have a fish finder to give you the correct depths, but to incorporate the GPS was great. It was super useful on unfamiliar water, because if you pay attention the 1st time you can follow your path to get home safely. Also, we used it to mark fish that we caught, and was able to use the split screen to pin point those spots and see depths. Pretty cool for this price point.*

Have you ever walked to gig, if so do you have any lights to recommend?
@Fishingstatus7 жыл бұрын
I don't walk, but some of the folks do and use various different light setups. The lights I use are Jerry's LEDs. He makes a walking version and sells them on eBay. www.ebay.com/p/Flounder-Gigging-Light-3000-Lumens-1-Year/1331822231?iid=191952341084

you are outing all of our best fishing spots dude !
@Fishingstatus11 жыл бұрын
With over 261,000 fishing spots in the database now, your favorite spots are probably still a secret! I mainly fish Hatteras, NC, but with over 1,700 fishing spots in that location, it would take me decades to fish every one. Even though we may be outing some of the best fishing spots, I bet there may be one or two in your area that you did not know about on our maps. Tight Lines!

Yes it was! My hands are raw from handling so many fish. Yes, Captain Jim got it 3 weeks ago. It is a 26' Fortier. Very smooth ride and with single diesel motor, it is cheap to fuel. I think we ran 120-130 miles total and burned about 45 gallon of gas. Not bad.
