I'm 65 and I consider myself somewhat of an aficionado when it comes to older black and white movies. I love the horror genre, but I've never seen this one. I was pleasantly surprised at how well done it was, especially the writing. Very creepy, loved the ending!!!

My cousins used to baby sit my brother and I on a Friday or Saturday night and I remember sitting there with a cushion in front of my eyes saying, "Can I look yet has the scary bit finished"!! ?? Yes they'd say but it hadn't!!! Can't beat the hammer house black and white films pure class. There's something to be said about a black and white film 🎥

I love my old classic actors, but I love running across a movie where I don't recognize a single name in the credits. It always turns out that I had seen some of them in other movies, just never really knew their name.

good movie. Wondering what is the emphasis on Janet's black doll...some sort of implication? The fact that the last frame has the doll lit as he is somehow responsible...but certainly significant in some way...

Demons DO call you with your name. I was like this for years and I wish that demons calling my name out of nowhere, was the only Hell I had gone through... The worst part is the torturing with their hot nails with wounds appearing out of nowhere on my hands,legs and belly.Thousand of Hair growing on my tongue in a second, my body buring like if I was burning inside a stove, swords cutting me in two and many many more. I didn't sleep for a decade, I don't know how I survived all this while it was happening, but I know that Jesus is REAL, Heaven and Hell are more real than you or anything on this world. PS You don't want to see the real apperance ofa demon, your mind and soul wouldn't stand for a second, you probably die of heart attack or lose your logic forever.

When I was younger I thought this movie was a prequel of "A nightmare on Elm Street" since the Italian name of both is the same: "Nightmare". I was looking for it. It must be a good film.
