Heard this today at Trader Joes in lynnwood, figured I'd better learn how to play it and introduce it to the band. LOL! The 90's were the best!

Still after all these molten years, this is one is a killer power pop song. Suck me sideways if I'm wrong.

I've got a lot of thoughts I've got a lot of plans I've lost a lot of sleep Tryin' to understand I could dream all day (I could dream all day) I could dream all day (I could dream all) I could dream all day I could dream all day I could dream all day In a blackened room Starin' into space Underneath a thousand blankets Just to find a place Where everything is reachable Imaginin' is safe I tried to make it so I didn't even know I could dream all day (I could dream all day) I could dream all day (I could dream all) I could dream all day I could dream all day I could dream all day Ahhhhh Ahhhhh I dream I was awake My mouth was colored grey As the world revolved around me I could only say I could dream all day (I could dream all day) I could dream all day (I could dream all) I could dream all day I could dream all day I could dream all day (I could dream all day) I could dream all day (I could dream all) I could dream all day I could dream all day I could dream all day I could dream all day I could dream all day

No power strong enough to defeat Jesus Christ now. Stop monkeying around and read the living truth that’s all all around. In Jesus Christs name we pray amen.

I remember I met one or two of these guys when I was just barely 16, maybe 15 still. They were playing at the university and me and my friends were hesitantly allowed to go. We were just giddy, giggly girls, not attracted to men yet, and just got a glimpse at the disparity between us kids and the older rock n' rollers. Like a brush with danger, exciting, but yet scary, we were unsure why they reacted how they did to us asking for an autograph: oddly, first irritation, then friendliness, and restraint. I guess they were concealing something not suitable for children. Don't think they were expecting kids in the hall. Thought about that on and off for many years after. Just an anecdote. A hazy memory. A slice of life... I still like the song.

Criminally underrated. There's an alternate universe where these guys were the biggest thing to come out of Seattle. A smarter, better universe, without a bunch of 2nd, 3rd and 4th wave Nirvana clones who didn't understand what Kurt was up to.
