Civil War history was incorrect Jackson County was not pro South there were people in Jackson County that we're certainly Pro South but not all. And the Union Army occupied Jackson County for most of the war

Woah cool.. most cities in the east or just like big city vs towns are on the east right on the water because fairly neat either way but it may be fairky inexpensivecof land if it is the case that even most or many of the towns are on the water then to simply buy some land further away from the water.. cool

Cute video. I was born in Kansas City, MO. I left in the early 80's but went back for a brief time in 2002. When I was 9 years old we moved to Independence, MO. I miss KCMO but it has changed so much I barely recognize it. My first concert was at the Municiple Auditorium. I saw Paul Revere and the Raiders. Long time ago. Heard the Muelbach Hotel was torn down. Famous people stayed there like Jack Benny and the Beatles. Can't believe the changes. Thank you for sharing.

Kansas Citian here. Never believe all that you see on the internet. Neither the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art nor the Uptown Theater is in Westport, although each is within a mile or so of Westport. If you're trying to find Walt Disney's original studio, it's not ON Troost Ave, but it is within a couple blocks of 31st and Troost.

Great job on your video! I found it entertaining. I'm a transplant but, have lived in the metro for almost 40 years now so I guess it's home. Don't tell too many people how great the area is, we like our non-traffic congestion. ;-)

I live in Nashville, Tennessee right now and have been for 17 years since I was 2 in 2004. I'm 19 and a Sophomore in college right now. I go to Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee but at some point in the beginning of May next year in 2022, I'm more than likely gonna to move to Kansas City, Missouri to live there with the other half of my family and my other parent, my dad. The surprising part is that I've never found out who my dad was until this year in 2021. He's been living there in Kansas City, Missouri the whole time and I didn't know I had a dad there until both him and my mom told me. It came to the point where my dad wants me to move there and live with him. At first I didn't agree with that idea... but then I figured that it's time for me to possibly move somewhere else soon since I've lived in Nashville, Tennessee for a while... I heard very good similar things about Kansas City, Missouri as well, especially the Kansas City Chiefs and their Arrowhead stadium and football games. I'm gonna try to scream and cheer for the Cheifs as loud as I can at Kansas City Cheifs home games at the Arrowhead stadium. My dad said I'll like it over there, so hopefully I will and won't regret moving there 😉👍💯 so when I move there I'll be transferring from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) to the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC).

The Broadway bridge is a auto bridge , and the Hannibal bridge is a railroad bridge. So the Broadway didn't replace the Hannibal bridge it is still used by the BNSF.

I grew up in Kansas City, Kansas, in the 1960's and 1970's. So happy it's a thriving city, unlike some others who were less fortunate, and it has bright young people like you to appreciate it. I have not lived there since '77, but I'll always think of it as "home".
