I have long been interested in Thetford Priory and its connections to Framlingham and St Mary Lambeth churches. I haven't visited since the big exhibition of a decade ago on the tomb fragments. I love a ruined abbey and priory too. Thanks for posting!

Extremely interesting: thank you. An almost miraculous survival.... Have you been to A La Ronde, a NT property in Devon? There the shell grotto is in the attics of the house, and was created by the two spinster ladies who lived there in the late 18th century. It is completely fascinating.

I wonder why the platform at Winslow is so short? Looks like a very short sighted decision and is clearly going to be lengthened in the future.

They have done the minium in re-instating the line. In addtion to longer platforms they haven't included space for electrification. I can see car parks at stations being at capacity very quickly. I don't know why the UK is so bad at planning infrasturcture for the long term, even allowing space, expansion way into the future. I bet the planners will be granting planning permission for housing right next to this route, thereby restricting car park provision, consigning residents to having noise pollution, making road improvements, safety schemes, cycle lanes, etc. all much more expensive to approve and implement in the future.

The small bridge with the road going through it is on church lane Neston and yes you can drive through it i believe it's the smallest road bridge in the country i live not to far from it great vid by the way thank you. Best Regards Neil

I remember that day- we were having Christmas lunch on a steamer on Lake Geneva, a beautiful day, lovely blue skies! Meanwhile Henry was playing trains in the snow! Nice one.
