These have a cute quaint feel, but they lack density/logistics needed for a modern city.

Some of those houses and their yards looks just amazing! I love that style. Never have seen such ones in the Europe. Although there is something similar in the southern part of Spain, near Malaga.

There’s something similar in Chicago known as 4+1’s. Built in the 1960’s they featured an open or closed garage on the ground level with 4 floors of apartments above.

The K line needs to go further North, as far as possible into the Valley side. Ideally the K line should reach the Hollywood Bowl, Griffith Observatory, L.A. Zoo and the Rose Bowl

TBH, these are basically the same as all of the shitty urban apartment units. Cheap garbage with a flashy facade. You'll get all of these nice looking buildings on the outside, and then you get inside and it's basically a prison cell. I don't get why people choose to live in these places. Unless you're there for the shipping port, there's really no reason to ever live in a major metro. The density creates too many unresolvable problems.

"The first house in England that was classified as a bungalow was built in 1869.[1] In the United States, it was initially used as a vacation architecture, and was most popular between 1900 and 1918,[3] especially with the arts and crafts movement.[4][2]" peps have no money own a hose.. why do u belive they will but weekend houses? the fact that these were used as apartments was merely a necessity due to poverty.

To add even more value, put various outdoor patios and light gardens on the top of each "Dingbat Dwelling" as appropriate. Help make California cool again (MCCA), and help drive the housing market crazy and more in-depth quality.

There are a lot of bad things about LA housing, but the way the architecture gets spiced up throughout the city has made it hard to go back to middle of america suburbia where the same 3 ugly designs fill an entire neighborhood, or in some cases entire towns.
