'I'm an insurance lawyer' well he did graduate from Harvard Law School not exactly your average law school. And besides Nuremberg he served as general counsel for the OSS ie he had a reasonably good idea about intel matters certainly a lot more than a typical insurance lawyer. Was he the best choice?Well you could certainly do a lot worse.

It's amazing how many progressive left companies, groups, etc. disallow anything to do with this awful time in human history. Suppressing this history does not make it go away, it does not make it seem like it never happened. to simply erase this does not take away the loss of millions of innocent people, does not cleanse the sins of those who did it, does not give a free pass to the generations that came after WW2. Every piece of nazi German items (collectibles) from WW2 is a history lesson, not something to be destroyed or banned. It's almost as if these leftist progressive groups plan to recreate the holocaust only on a larger scale to include everyone who doesn't conform to their twisted demonic ideologies. Ask any Jew who survived that time, they don't want this part of history hidden. Afterall, it was them that suffered and nearly 6 million that died in such a short time period, all from the hands of demonic socialists, who are still with us today, only they don't wear armbands and black boots anymore, at least not yet. But what they do have in common with those nazi killers is that they are still leftist socialist democrats and have made it known publicly many times over that if you don't follow them they will try to eliminate you however they can. Sound familiar? the nazis never were a far right group, they were called that because they were nationalists and loved their country, everything else they did and believed in was as far left as you can go. They were social democrats before adolf, then became nazis, and then back to an even more dangerous socialist democrat after.

Well Ireland and Germany are supposed to be nations of laws also but there criminals and corruption everywhere even if cultural preferences vary and the Irish was to drink great beer for St. Patricks Day in March and the Germans want to drink their craft beer with pretzels during Oktoberfest etc. certainly as a Canadian myself I know our laws and constitution vary from America too though we look very similar on the surface and are neighbors we are not independent from Britain like America either.

@LabTech419 ай бұрын
Due respect, but the man who's currently in charge is the one tearing up the rule book, imprisoning political dissidents, censoring the media, and using the DoJ to prevent his rival from even being eligible despite being the nominee for his party. Trump contested the results of the election when there was more than enough due cause for suspicion, but the important thing is that when push came to shove he left office without firing a shot, which is how it's always been. It's the other side that's broken all norms.

@@janandersen8735 I think you know well what I meant but I’m going to take a gander that you’re using a newly invented term that is a reaction to Trump’s criticisms, invented by a conservative political columnist and commentator Charles Krauthammer (I can read Wikipedia too). Here’s to making America even greater without reelecting Trump.
@janandersen87359 ай бұрын
@@arobatto No I don't, that is why I asked and you dodged the question, so let me ask again, why should someone have a conversation with Trump about the rulebook. If you want to talk about the rulebook, it is the Democrats who are trying to prevent the leading opposition candidate from even being on the ballot and are charging him with utterly frivolous crimes to brand him a felon and keep him from campaigning?

To stop a movie actor from being honest about an incident in his life judged by many as a racist is Nazi..to speak freely is part of Democracy, especially when a goal or aim is involved. People in Amery feel too sensitive about common speech especially when discussing issues of racism. To speak Freely in America is important. This actor is from Ireland and grew up in a time when Britain walked into Northern Ireland and just invaded. I remember the news articles, at that time, who called it a "religious war" by Protestants. Being a Catholic at the time I couldn't understand why the Vatican never stood up or America, in public, denouncing Britain:s actions. There are countless stories about what happened to the Irish, while being occupied. But for now I'll say I'm no longer Catholic but are Protestant and speak against British Occupation as much as possible. What bothers me the most is seeing an African sound, act and talk as a Brit. but that's just me.

Fully agree that Liam should have gotten the Oscar for " Schindler's List " . Not taking away anything from Tom Hanks performance in " Philadelphia" . Both were great. To bad it could have been a tie. Like it was years ago when Barbra Streisand won for " Funny Girl" and Katherine Hepburn won for a movie she was in . Dont know which one.

@@katmarino4120 No, you need a bit of life under your belt to really understand this film. Are you trying to educate or indoctrinate? People come across things at an early age, sometimes too early, but it should be as an individual. Not part of some "everybody must watch this, everybody must have the same reaction, everybody must be educated" and that's what happens far too often. And judging by the current politics amongst youngsters, it has backfired badly. I was born in the sixties, what we are seeing now in colleges would be unthinkable to my generation. Yet we weren't "lectured" in the way they are now.

I was expecting the wave of teens who were supposedly ushered over to the theaters to see this particular reissue (especially those that have not yet reached the magic number of 17 at that point, which should serve as an obvious hint) were informed that it was exactly twice as long since a certain milestone in the film industry entered the scene that was somehow seemed essential in order to make that type of experience a reality thanks to a mind-blowing history lesson I was lucky enough to learn about during my college education, hence the reason why I thought I'd refer to the theaters for that particular reissue as "sardine tins of teens."
