Fantastic and overall spot on. A few comments: youth and speed are a must. That does not mean a team should not have skilled veterans and the Comets have them and their leadership showed. Something else maybe to talk about is the Visa issue. Regarding the Comets, if Benji is available next year - they just got younger and faster. Junior would had another young offensive weapon. Atkins is a big guy and younger. Just having those 3 will help.

Another issue is our other forward who plays wide left ALWAYS makes near post runs and no one is on the back post for tap ins.

Been around KC soccer my whole life. Played on the best mrl team growing up. Varsity soccer. I even worked as a bartender for SKC. The announcer Dale, was my assistant coach. Here’s what I will say… Kansas City is a huge Soccer capital. Sheels Park, Swope Park, Overland Park in general… We grow a lot of natural talent. For Christ sake Matt Biesler went to Blue Valley West….Peter Vermes is a asshole. But in order to run a club you must have a type of way. The internal workforce in SKC is underpaid. Employees would constantly complain of having to be there or how it was another bad job. There were bartenders during my first season last year that hated it. They have done it for years and we’re complaining non stop. Good valued employees love to come to work. Things have changed, maybe the pandemic, but I think it’s more than that. SKC needs to import, new highly valued players, get a superstar or something. Remember the old SKC, the team was one. Let’s find players that are out here to create magic!…..andddd fix the internal issues. Much love

Btw the Cauldron tips extremely well. Despite the out come. I was bartending one game on the field. The only spot on it. The Cauldron would non stop tip after ever single brew. I felt like a stripper. The fan base isn’t the problem.

I wasn’t allowed in the cauldron growing up bc of the intensity of the cauldron, and now we have families and 5 year olds and younger up on the capo stand?!? The cauldron needs to change NOW. I have been a season ticket holder for 3 years now and I’m ready for a whole new management of it to a younger crowd and social media actually being used

I have reached out and have heard nothing, I have recently been starting new chants that reach quite a few people but the same old “vermes army” and “out to win the league” have got to go. The MLS has changed and we are stuck with the same chants and same old leadership.
