There is a lot I could say about this video, but the fact that you have Illuminati symbols tattooed on your arms is a good reason to stay away from this woman❗

Hello Lisa - It is 22Sep24 and I found your KZbin channel this afternoon (from Lewisburg, Tennessee via Porter, Texas - Not far from Conroe, TX - ❤). I to am using Freedom Soy Wax as my first and only soy wax. I was almost in tears watching this video as I could see the shear frustration that no one wants to make in a public forum. Thank you so much for doing the video as I thought I was the only one with a small pile of Candle Making Misfit Products starting to accumulate in my pantry. I seriously stopped hitting the AMAZON BUY NOW button today as I have my jars, wax (no fragrance yet), and suggested wicks. However, I wish I would have seen the “wick-less video” to test wicks in my jars FIRST! I have approximately 10 jars (various sizes) with wicks set in them curing for testing in October 2024. I’m not throwing them out and starting over because I just might (KEYWORD: might) be close the correct wick size for the Freedom Soy Wax as tester candles. I to have a Freedom Soy Wax + Beeswax curing as well. TEST - TEST - TEST - TEST… Thank you very much for stressing the TEST - TEST - TEST and TEST again process in your videos. It only takes one handmade candle to go wrong and it did go seriously wrong. Keep up the good work and thank you very much for making your Candle Journey my candle journey. I am learning from you… Big “L’s” and Bigger “Wins!” Along the way… PS… watching all the others well known candle makers that you have recommended too… Happy Fall and good luck on the product launch… I’ll be testing until September 2025 for my launch…

I wonder if you could do a video explaining fragrance amount. I found where it says 1 ounce per pound but sometimes it seems like alot. And i dont want to overdue it, but still want a great candle

I would love a follow up comment or video. I would like to know about the hot throw after the trial, using the expert advice with Freedom Soy. Hot throw seems a problem for many users. Thanks.

I've had nothing but problems with two products from ASO. The freedom coconut and the pro flex. Wicking issues, ht issues. It's tough getting your wax from one place and your vessels and frag from another. Even ASO is saying things differently now. Like heat to 185. I want to use this wax for my new company but it's costing me a lot of money and time. I find very few people using their waxes and very little "community" support.

I'm a thinker and enjoy reading and doing research. I researched for almost a year before actually buying products to test. My waxes and wicks all came from the supplier. I followed all their recommendations so I'm glad I didn't run into any issues with my candles. One thing my supplier was firm on, be consistent when testing. As I always tell my children... you live and you learn! There's always something new to learn.

I am a new candle maker. I have been testing this wax as well. I am blending beeswax at 2% to help with the smoothing tops and shipping in hot summers. I have had a lot of issues with cracks, craters, and air pockets. I am trying to figure out if it's excess air trapped in the wax or if it's my fault. So many variables to consider. I have found that CD works best in this wax and fragrance loads around 9%. It will depends on fragrances. I am using those 9 oz straight sized jars and bouncing between CD 12 & 14. Still lots of testing to be done. Testing on different pouring temps and even trying to cool inside aluminum pans to regulate the temperature better. I am also trying their coconut blend. My goal is to use soy, coconut, or beeswax and stay away from paraffin. Personal preference. I have seen that people will claim 100% soy and still add small amounts of paraffin, like the soy 10. I do think Freedom is 100% soy truly. One thing I read said that if it comes in a block form it does have paraffin in it. Lots of things to consider. Thanks for your review. Happy candle. making!

I just came across your video as I was trying to research the brand that you were talking about. I did try the coconut soy from them and it worked great. We are new to this and have been doing this for about five months. Woodworks are my favorite and I think something that might help you is to prime your woodwick before pouring the wax into the vessel. I have had issues as well with them going out, but after I started to prime them they started to burn completely perfect even in a small vessel. Thank you for your video on this product!

Thanks for your tips!! Funnily enough I decided to just heat to 185 even tho the bag says 160 bc i’m not getting a good hot throw, i’m hoping they come out good, they’re curing right now. Have you tried The Golden Wax 415 brand? I made several with that and the hot throw seems to be better than this brand but it does have craters and not smooth tops like this wax.

Thank You Sincerely for this video 👍🏾. I use only Local Bee's Wax 🐝, which is thick (not as soft as the soy, that you are using) 🕯. For full melt pools (in square 3" jars), I've had to double-wick 🤓.

I have been using 464 forever. Heating my wax to 180, adding scent and pouring around 135 or so. No issue. We make 1000s of candles/year and are considering adding to our line. 1) is the wax microwaveable 2) what is the pour temp 3) are eco zinc core cotton wicks useable

I’ve made the huge mistake of giving my products away with the hope of someone spreading the word, mentioning it on fb or something like that. Heck even just a sincere thank you would be nice. They all ask for things? And yes it hurts my feelings and I swear I won’t do it again, but I do. I need to remember that no one is excited about what I do but me. And that’s ok.

I have to say I appreciate the way you come across. I’m sure that doesn’t make any sense to you but I just don’t like listening to someone who seems to be talking down to me. Yes, I want to learn and I’m open to new ideas, but not with attitude. You sweetheart are a gem! I can’t wait to go through your channel and watch your videos. Thank you. ❤

I use my friends and family as guinea pigs. I gave away free candles and other products just for the feedback. Have some bought? Yes. But their feedback was used to perfect my products so that I could land wholesale deals with businesses. 1 month after testing my very first candle, I was making 500 candles to be carried in 3 different stores. And still giving free candles to friends and family (and businesses too) to test my new products. People will try your stuff for free usually, but balk at buying something they've never used. That's how you get your foot in the door. I'm ok with giving away $100 if it makes me $10,000.
