Only problems I see with the game are: 1. It's taking a game about celebrating the past and present of Sonic, and shoehorning in a character who has no classic incarnation. 2. Sega's putting Denuvo in the PC version when the original didn't have it.

My one complaint with the trailer is the Clock Tower boss intro. The face thinning away is supposed to be a small cutscene to show the twisted nature of Wasteland, but in this trailer it melts in the blink of an eye when it's barely even on-screen. Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated had a lot of moments where the animation was too fast and/or missing frames and I'm really hoping this remake doesn't end up having the same problem.

Yh, honestly, I'm a little worried too, still excited for the game but it looks a little off in some areas, but what's got me more worried is how spaced out these trailers are, maybe that's just me but something about this marketing is bothering me just a bit but I'm hoping for the best. I don't know that they *can't* have a Forces stage in the game Black Doom gave Shadow visions of his past before so who's to say he can't show visions of the future too? I think the reason they *won't* have Forces stages in there is more 'cause they just aren't worth revisiting :D

I see what you are saying, and that's right. Sega is trying to make the newest sonic games look more realistic but it doesn't really fits. It looks dull just as you said. I think the low textures and details in some areas are just an outcome of rushing everything to make it on time. I seen it in many games, they are rushing to make things fast and in some points it is just some kind of lazyness.

Now that Sonic X Shadow Generations has been announced this theory has officially been proven absolutely false.

Call me old fashioned but I prefer how expressive the early 2000 2D promotional was over 3D promotional artwork. I dont favor sonic teams 3d renders at all over the iconic 2D ones, particularly used in Sa1 Sa2 and Sonic Advanced trilogy.

personal opinions: open your heart remix v1 - sounds like something from devil may cry 1, kinda dig it, i'd put it around high c to low b remix v2: had a ton of potential, but ended up being a long-ass build-up to absolutely nothing, high d remix v3: alright, also i know that name, chris vrenna, the guy worked on nfs most wanted '05's original soundtrack, i think some movie scores too, which is cool, but i'd put this one around high c-low b as well believe in myself remix v1: what (low d, slightly listenable, but this sounds nothing like something for tails, the lyrics don't match the instrumental either) remix v2: burn it to ash, straight to f unknown from m.e. remix v1: ohh so this is how they're all gonna be, huh, low d, stupid as hell song for knuckles, makes him sound like he goes punching people to death in alleyways and wears a black leather jacket remix v2: i like the slight tribal hints here and there in the song, but otherwise, just fuuuuuckin empty, probably fits better for shade the echidna or something my sweet passion remix v1: amy rose if she was somewhere in nevada, high d at most remix v2: f lazy days ~livin' in paradise~ remix: you're on a mission, where failure means death, to capture and retrieve froggy, big has just caught you running away with froggy in your hands, and is livid, low b just because of the sheer shitpost potential

I'll be honest. I've never really liked fan remixes. Most of them I've heard just remove or change too much of the song to the point where it's unrecognisable, have massive buildups for no reason, throw most of the lyrics away and repeat some of them over and over again, add random parts to them that make no sense, or just completely forget the point of the song.

Edgy remix of Tails theme is for Nine from Sonic Prime ☠️☠️☠️. Also jesus I thought the Colors Ultimate Planet Wisp was bad but this is worse lol

Fun fact, and ex guitarist of Megadeth (Al Pitrelli) actually played on the Sonic Adventure remix album, which is strange, because Marty Friedman (another ex Megadeth guitarist) actually played on the song "With Me" on Sonic and the Black Knight (banger solo btw) You know that phrase about nickels and stuff happening twice, well, that applies here. It's funny, you see random names pop up all over the place, like Nick Menza (also of Megadeth) performing drums on the Gran Turismo 1 theme (Moon over the Castle)
