For those wondering, this mode is repeated for this weeks challenge in arcade; and it's even more bullshit, with the AI blatantly cheating now, able to instantly block whatever attack you do with only chain attacks able to do damage. I get that it's supposed to be played with friends, but there's such a thing as scaling back to a manageable difficulty. Unless you play this game constantly and have mastered everything; or you have the reaction time and precision of a CS:GO professional, this is a hard pass. I played the first STAGE for about... 4 hours, looked this up, and saw that I wasn't doing anything wrong besides being maybe .05 seconds slower than this guy; and I just said screw it. This is straight up not fun, Ubisoft, and the reward for all this pain? RNG loot that is no better than what you currently have.
