I had a similar thing with a Merc ML many years ago. Everything was pointing to the engine being seized because we couldn’t turn the crank no matter how hard we tried. Got it to a garage who confirmed what we thought. I took it home and ended up swapping it for a Ford fiesta just to get to work. The guy that took the ML messaged me a week or so later to say he’d fixed it and all it was was one of the pulleys had seized up which caused the car to not start because it couldn’t get the chain moving. He replaced the pulley and hey presto the car fired up and ran like a dream again. It couldn’t be something simple like that. I’m only 5:13 into the video though so who knows haha

Unlucky Dude. These 4.5 NA blocks are unreliable unfortunately. Bore score now on 90% of them causing the engine to eventually have too much damage... Should of got a 3.2 V6 dude. Yes slow at 246BHP but actually reliable and still sound good. I was looking forward to this cayenne content lol

The symptoms sound v familiar sadly, my old 955 turbo s had the same, I managed to catch before it went bang but it was a £3k fix to get the chain etc replaced. If you do get a replacement cayenne it’s worth getting a decent scanner and live polling the cam deviation to see if the car is adjusting the timing/ if there’s chain slack.
