Hi, thank you for the kind words. I highly recommend the conversion, van runs unreal, can accelerate from 50 to 70 easy with no problem keeping up with traffic on the motorway, I even tow with it. Infact it is a little to fast but it does get great miles, I’m mostly ever in 5th gear. You end up going to fast for 6th really. New vid coming.

Hi thank you, I would go for 2 solid weeks if I was to have done it straight. If I was to do it again I could now do it much faster. I do have a follow up vid to do as I’ve now done a few miles and ironed out a few issues. The driving is so much better, so powerful and need I say, sooo fast and economical.

Hello mate, sorry no, one of the biggest issues was space, and I have lost my work shop for that now. It’s really not a terrible conversion, the only thing I would say is that I would use a van engine and gearbox! As I tow things with it the gearing in the box is not really low enough to use the torque it has, if driving normal it is lovely, pulls hard and it’s actually to fast for a van lol.

Hello mate. I’m working on a final vid, I’ve been using it a bit hear and there, but due to winter I took all the water out. The engine is incredible, I was on the motorway the other day and it does 70mph. Easy and will and has excelerated to 80 to over take in 6th gear. I love it and you will be very happy with it 👍🏽👌🏽

@@sariahlim hello mate, appreciate your kind word, was a little challenge, but not to bad to be honest, I love the vans but they are so under powers, this now accelerates like a car, it’s around 210hp 420ftlb, not that you need it but I tow with it and it really helps. That’s a good find, the engine looks high enough now to be honest, but I’d be interested to see the steal sump, dark side also do a low level one. I’m just kinda done spending at the moment lol

Yes so it has power steering and ac pump on it I was going to ask what belt you ran to delete these 2 items but still run the alternator ? You may have covered it in a video if so sorry lol. @@1234langa4321 you may have heard me mention Oakley, lovely young bloke that has been very helpful, I can give you his details for parts and maps. As for the removal of the ac and pas mine was a seat, so I had electric pas, so I’m not using that, and I just unbolted the ac pump and there are kits for the delete on eBay. Would you be interested In selling the pas pump? And do you have any picture of the front of the engine so I can see where the pas pump goes ?

@@darrenlives I have yes that would be great if you could mate, ok cool I had looked on dark side and seen they do kits for belts, my talbot has non power steering I’d love to make something work but looks a headache, but yes I won’t be needing it I’ll also get some pics of that for you. Is there a way we can message off of comments ?

I believe corse C electric steering setup is the way forward on a non power steering rack.

For drag racing purposes the th400 is just set and go, I found the dct great but the tuning was above me. And the parts to make it hold 1500hp are very expensive

@Small Time Racing UK can you fix a DCT if sent to you 🤔🤔 because my gear is not shifting 5-7

Sorry man, I can only advise to open it up and clean all the magnets, mine was filled with swarf, this will possibly stop gear changes

@@BEYTEK yer bud, for me this current converter just sits at 2300 rpm, no boost nothing that low down on the 78mm turbo, so a loose one is in order
