How cute! I live with a 33 y/o B&G macaw since she was 10 months old. She was rescued in a situation where she was in a condo with a much older macaw who taught her some bad habits that she was too young to fully understand. It’s taken me a long time to gain her trust but after my two little birds passed away, she is now a bit more lonely but she’s the center of attention. That’s what these birds really need to be, the center not the periphery. That said she now will flip upside down and beg me to tickle her. I can put my fingers in her mouth and trust her so it just takes a lot of patience time and lots of love!
