Good video but one thing that wasn't clear at first was that while holding power and down volume, once the screen flashes you said hold up volume, you actually have to hold power and up volume.

It works. And beware, You lose all data, so back-ups in anticipation are a must, if you don't, You'll be sorry.

Hi, I know this is an old post, so I hope you're still around to answer this. I have a Google Pixel 2 XL. It was my old phone from a few years ago, but I was signed in on the same Google account. Hopefully, that is helpful with my issue. So I finally found the phone because I couldn't remember where I put it first LOL and when I tried to sign on, it prompted me for a PIN number, which I can't remember. I have tried 30 different combinations and still can not get in. I absolutely do not want to wipe the phone, do a factory reset, or lose any information at all. Do you have any advice?

Google Pixel is the worse phone experience in my life. I had the 4a 5g version which screen's stopped to work after dropping it in my water cup. The 7 Pro screen stopped working after it felt down from the couch, not dropping it, just slipping from the sofa. Gave it a second chance, never again.
