It’s not Africa even though black ppl are the one ms who perform this music. Why? Bc Africans didn’t arrive to Cuba playing Son. It’s like saying that Rap music is African just bc blacks in USA are playing it. Cuban Son is Cuban; that’s it.

It is a great master class ... I see in these days most dancers start the song, continue and end the song in same rythm with same figures ... BADDDD;,,,,, each kind of cuban rythm has its particular time and moves ... In the extreme, I saw people dancing regaetton song with lineal salsa figures ... ayayayyyyyy ... I understood them... surely they were not latino people... Then, that is why this kind of classes are important for every body and more for them

Once many of the current dancers learn that and incorporate it to their way the dance,they would be better. Oliver pineda is one of the very little dancers around the world who has almost everything in his dance. Most dancers miss little something that make them look not as good.
I still come back to watch this from time to time :)

What a great Workshop! But what do you mean "even Kizomba"? Don't judge Kizomba from what you can see on YT nowadays. Look at the true Kizomba and it's roots, the same as you talk about Salsa from Kuba and you will even find similarities.

Por que habla de son y no suelta pasos de son ?, siempre mantiene el estilo liniero
@Jorge8575 жыл бұрын

Rodrigo, bro! Tremenda explicaciones jajajaja
@RotoTomDrums6 жыл бұрын
This is an awesome speech! I'd have to disagree with Rodrigo on one point. Personally, I find that the montuno is really great for going all out with turns and patterns, whereas the mambo is better for breaking out into shines/footwork. I mean, the band REALLY starts to cook during montunos, and it's so much fun to channel that momentum with full-throttle partner work. Besides that, the montuno is often the longest section of the song; if you break out into shines and footwork at that time then you end up essentially dancing by yourself for two and a half minutes. To each their own, though! That's the great thing about musicality.
@Nuevolutionsalsa6 жыл бұрын
The montuno is normally broken up into two parts... Mambo and solo... The mambo portion you will go all out but the solo portion "should be" for shines. At the end of the day this is just a guide to help people "connect" with the music. You will all dance it the way you feel which is what gives it such power. The ability to interpret your own way. As long as you stay connected with that and your partner, it's all good.
@rexdinarocky5 жыл бұрын
Tom Leslie i agree . Partner work with mambo is doable but just really really right steps to stay on count . Footwork is better .

My dogs fatter than hers and its not that we don't care for them. We exercise her and take care of her she is as spoiled as ever. So they didn't do anything to their dog they are perfect.

Jessica Mercado your right on that this was 3 years ago i was young and un educated but it all depends on the dogs body type and what it’s mixed with still for being a Chihuahua it’s obesity. I have no idea what dog breed your have so i would say u would have to compare the same dog she has but in an ideal weight.

Quick and dirty timelapse of the blood moon last night. 1210 shots taken at 10 second intervals played back at 24 frames per second. My first attempt (well, the first time I've seen a blood moon!) so things weren't perfect. There's a big difference between the amount of light during the eclipse and when the moon turns to blood. That makes it challenging to capture the transition. I think you'd need at least 3 cameras set up on celestial object trackers in order to capture this properly. Music is Forever by E-Mantra.
