I can relate! I’ve been going through this the past 1.5 yr now losing hair, brain fog, daily panic attacks, heart racing, anxiety, depression sooo drained i cant even function once home taking away from my kids and husband.
@MsCellobassАй бұрын
My beef with the airlines is that they make the main cabin seats packed together like we’re sardines😂 My husband is 6 ft and a lot of other men are taller than that. So it’s like we need to have either first class or more leg room. The airlines are getting away with a lot! Don’t believe me- read your carrier contract. Every effing thing is to their benefit! You may get first class or premium coach but believe it or not they have the right to seat you somewhere else. The only thing they do not have a right to do is not refund your money. So unless we file class action suits against them or demand that they space the seats reasonably apart they are going to continue doing crap like that.

Hi everyone! Thank you so much for watching this video. 😃It's been a pleasure answering your questions and receiving your compliments. See below for frequently asked questions. ✨F A Q ✨ Q1. Can you use the maps offline? A1. You can download a map of the city/country you are visiting and view/get directions offline. Step 1 - Search for the city or country. Step 2 - Look at the buttons at the top and tap on "Download". Step 3 - Zoom in/out to choose the area of the map you want to download. Step 4 - Tap on "Download". Step 5 - Once you get to your destination, use Google Maps normally. (Only driving directions will be shown. Transit and walking directions will not be shown.) However if you want to specifically see the "Google My Map" you created when you are on airplane mode/offline, right now Google tells us "Couldn't open your list of maps." Q2: How do you get step by step directions on iPhone Google Maps? A2: When viewing the map you created on Google My Maps, it is like an itinerary. There isn't a feature in the "Google My Maps" function to allow for directions on mobile. It is something you would need to search for on the regular Google Maps search function. Q3: I cant seem to find the app of my google maps. Did they stop the app? I found it only as a website. A3: Google My Maps does not have a separate app from Google Maps, it is an embedded feature. Please see 12:37 to 13:15 to learn how to access it. Q4: How do you create a Google My Maps on your iPhone and not only on desktop? A4: Right now it doesn’t look like Google lets us create a “Google My Maps” on our phone. We are just able to view the map we created on desktop, on our phone. Q5: Can you set departure times? A5: I tested it out on the computer and yeah, I'm also not seeing departure times. But if you go to the Google Maps app, tap on "Saved" button, then tap on "Maps", tap the custom map you created, tap on the pin you want to go to, tap "Directions", and you will be able to put in departure times. Q6: Is there a way to re-sort the layers? A6: If you mean by "re-sort", you are referring to moving the order of the categories to move "Hotel" below "Restaurants" (for example), hover your mouse over the name of the category. Your cursor should turn into a hand. Then click (the cursor should turn into 4 arrows), and drag up or down. Q7: I can't seem to add the same location more times in the same layer. Do you know how? In my itinerary we need to visit the same place more than once during the day and I use the layer as a program. A7: If you go to the little buttons underneath the search bar - hover over the little pin 📌 icon and it says "Add marker" and then click on the same spot you are going to be visiting. Q8: Is it possible to add new places/pins to layers on a mobile phone when already traveling and on the go? A8: At this time it doesn’t appear so, I wish we could! However, the alternative would be to click on the location and then click on “Save” and choose a list. There’s existing lists like “Favorite” but you can create a new one. This list won’t merge with the Google My Maps you created and doesn’t allow you to write comments or any extra things, just allows you to save.

SUPER helpful! Question: how did you create your Day 1, Day2 lists? Can I drag pins I put on the map or do I have to create another layer?
@BlondeInTheAir3 ай бұрын
Hi PennySue, The Day 1, Day 2 lists are layers that were renamed to be "Day 1". If you click on that layer, you can choose which pin you want to add to that layer. You'll see a button that says "+ Add to the map". Check out 02:56 😊 If you put a pin in the wrong layer, you can click and drag it to the correct layer. If you have any other questions, please let me know.

@BlondeInTheAir4 ай бұрын
Hi Steve! It may depend on your computer settings. For me the distance is in miles. I looked to see if there is any setting directly on the Google My Maps page but I couldn't find anything. Only other thing that I can say to help is: 1 mile = approx. 1.6 km
@janemclachlan14 ай бұрын
Thanks I think it may be linked. To your location, I live in Scotland, - where we are semi metric, ( weights in kg but beer in pints !And speed in mph) but when planing road motor cycle road trips , I always. Find it eaiser to use miles so was just looking for a way to have default setting in miles rather than km - thanks

Thank you so much for uploading this video! I have struggled with this as well, I am recovering and making changes. I recommend reading The Five Levels of Attachment by Don Miguel Ruiz Jr. It addresses how we tie material things and titles to our identity. I feel like it is a good read even in hindsight. When we are used to doing something for so long its expected to feel a sense a loss when it ends. It is also okay to grieve the change. Congrats on your decision and looking forward to your coming videos!

Thank you so much for posting such authentic content, I related to so much of it and was crying and laughing at various points. I had brain fog after Covid, I got the vicious strain that was circulating NYC in Feb 2020, and it was interesting to hear the connection to the lymph node. And thank you also for raising awareness on self-harm, I know I hit a low in April 2020 and would imagine many other people did too. I got a semi-colon tattoo in July 2020, which was as soon as tattoo parlors reopened, because I do think it's important for people to know they're not alone so thanks for using your platform to speak to that. Loved your prison analogy, and everything else you said

I flew to NYC for lunch in Time Square. I did a trip to Milan, Italy just to fly back on the same aircraft (I wanted and got Delta One). I also did a “weekend” trip to Rome. Non-Rev travel is AMAZING!
@brentshepard392510 ай бұрын
On the Milan flight, I had actually booked myself to Dublin. While sitting at the Dublin gate I look behind me and see a flight going to Milan that left 2 hours earlier and it had open Delta One seats. I canceled the Dublin flight, booked the Milan flight, and was cleared within the hour. It was by far my scariest experience in Italy. Their customs couldn’t figure out why I was trying to clear for an aircraft that I just got off of. They ended up getting a supervisor, who cleared me. After that I got “randomly screened” 3 times!

Here's my story relating to your at minute 7. I to fly standby..... Six years ago I planned a trip to Seoul South Korea for a long weekend. I flew from Boston to SFO. When I got onto my flight from SFO to ICN, I fell asleep in my seat. Now I seated in the last seat gateway side of first class. About an hour after I fell asleep I woke up to find that we hadn't taken off and the door was still open. So I called over the FA and asked what was going on... See whispered to me what was going on and said the flight will most likely be canceled. I said OOOHHH!!. That's not good. So I opened my laptop, signed into the airlines employee travel app, looked for the next flight leaving SFO to any Asian country I didn't need to get a visa. Japan it was. Specifically Osaka.... I told the FA I was leaving, grabbed my carry on and hoofed it off the plane and jogged to the neighboring gate where the Osaka flight was leaving in about 30mins. When I got the gate my boarding pass was printed and I walked onto the plane, sat down and again fell asleep.... The flight departed. I ate dinner then said to myself "Oh shit... I don't have a hotel booked need to hurry before we get out of satellite range for the internet. So I bought the internet, looked up a hotel and booked it. I arrived on Saturday morning into Osaka and left on Monday.

You sound like a lot fun! LoL I haven’t visited Asia, but I’m not too keen on it either. European travel interests me more. I like going to the airport with no destination in mind and choosing once I get there (ATL is my preferred HUB).
