After selling several of these machines over the last few months, they are louder than other machines but they also have a much bigger motor, HP, enclosed cab and such. If you're looking for the quiet unit, get the new Ranger 1500XD.

It will. But depending on size they get jammed up and will clog it up . Not real efficient for pine cones. Easier to pickup and burn.

I have a problem with the trimmer line melting to the head inside and not releasing when I hit it. any ideas why the head heats up so much to melt the line? I am using Husqvarna platinum line....so think it should be good
