This game make no sense to me but cool voice acting!!!

A suggestion - look at the Paldeck in the menu, on the right side are listed the things a pal can do. To spare you some time, none of your current pals can chop trees, plant seeds or water the crops - and most definitely none of them can cook. However, Lamball and Cattiva can help you build things, and Cattiva will mine until its little paws hurt. Just cook some berries for them - raw berries are less nourishing and heal no sanity for a pal (all work and no rest drive a Cattiva up a tree, and stuff like that), roasted berries will keep them happy just fine for now.
