How can a loving parent send their kids into timeout? So their child can learn the error of their ways and seek forgiveness since they didn't seek it when they were alive. Can a person in hell not transcend to heaven after learning the error of their ways and seeking such forgiveness and doing better

This is false he loves us but if you choose to do as you wish there are consequences just like your parents they love you but if you get out of line you would get corrected in any normal household look at what happens when you go uncorrected there’s a need for discipline YAHUSHAH didn’t just take up our sins we need to repent and not do as we will that’s why we have commandments rules if not for that we would live lawlessness you can’t just believe in him and continue doing what you do just because somebody said he already died and paid for your sins continue doing what you’re doing doesn’t work that way

Well just because your sins are paid for doesn't mean you should still sin. God gave us rules and boundaries so that we can flourish in life. When a firefighter rescues you from a burning building and invites you over for dinner, would you accept? And how would you act in His house? We should act that same way towards God for what He did

God the Almighty and the Wise is wiser than to create all humans with free will and then “send his son” to take everyone’s sins. It doesn’t make sense to have someone innocent take the punishment for a murderer and call that justice. And God is Justice, so God will judge each person on what he or she did. God’s love and mercy is when you live with hundreds of chances to become better and you still get more even when you do the worst actions. It is when we are asked on judgement day and God wipes off the bad deeds of whoever, the All Merciful (God) desires.

@@ravenharmon1282 so animals were murdered because He wanted to punish people not animals because he created humans the way in which they are able to do what He punishing them for in the first place, so they could have a free will because in his perverted mind sending someone to burn for eternity if they use given free will in way they want and not He is free will, without even questioning why to create free will if He is going to coerce people to do something against their will in fear of punishment

@user-cz1mz3pp9n sorry I only caught some of that, there wasn't a single period there. Is English a second language? Hopefully this helps. God gave us rules to his universe so that we could live a good life and flourish. There is a reason to each rule to keep us safe and protected. Just like how each country has their own laws, or how each family has rules under their roof. If you break the rules, you get punished. It's not out of hate but there are consequences to your actions

@@Reformed_ThinkerHell isn’t necessarily a place or location on some cosmic and eternal map. It is probably much more accurate to say hell is a perpetual state of the soul eternally separated from God.

@@Reformed_Thinker Thanks for engaging! I love discussing theology and I can tell you enjoy it as well. I would love to deep dive into this because I think it’s fun, but you are free to disregard any further responses if you are not interested in a quick conversation about this. On your response: That is an interesting observation, but I think it would be rather unlikely (logically speaking and according to the theology I understand) that heaven be a physical place. There are a few reasons why I say this: The physical world is confined to what is observable and natural because physical things require matter and matter requires time. If heaven were physical, it would also be made of matter and be confined within a time. But, as we know, God exists outside of time, space, and matter. That is not to say God cannot find a way to make it possible, but it is the immediate logical conclusion that He would not choose to. Also, because God dwells as Pure Spirit, we can reasonably argue that heaven is a realm of pure spirit because this would be perfectly suited for our souls. Heaven is an untainted illustration of God’s own Beauty. God initially made heaven for human souls to enjoy as they enter union with Him, so that unity would most likely come from a spiritual source, not a physical source. Also, humans are destined for something greater than ourselves because of Christ’s sacrifice. Through grace and holiness, we begin to become more like Christ (Christification). More specifically, we transcend what shackles us from Him. This line of thinking could be taken to its logical conclusion and mean that we overcome and look beyond what is physical to join spiritually with God in the vaults of an incorporeal heavenly realm. Thus, heaven is probably not a physical place. But, we can’t know for sure because it is not for us to know until we meet our Creator face-to-face, just as we cannot know when the Second Coming will be. There are many interesting theories being discussed. Thanks for the thoughts, it is an interesting topic. I would like to hear what you think. God bless!

@@CatholicQuartet thanks for being so considerate, I do in fact love theological discussion 😊 It's a bit hard for me because multiple verses do indicate exactly what you are saying, but also the opposite. "Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell." (Matthew 10:28) "If your hand causes you to stumble, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life maimed than with two hands to go into hell, where the fire never goes out. And if your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life crippled than to have two feet and be thrown into hell. And if your eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell, where “‘the worms that eat them do not die, and the fire is not quenched.’" (Mark 9:43-48) You could say it's symbolism, but symbolism for what? It seems our bodies are kept with us when we travel to Heaven, or Hell. I would love to know your thoughts!

My roommate passed away on May 19th, 2024 and I know God has called him home so that he is no longer in pain. He was in the hospital but he begged to come home to die. He was home for a day before God took him to be with him. Now, because of my health, I am trying to get to Washington to be with my daughter and join Victory Faith. I watch every Sunday and look forward to each service. Please pray that I can get the money to get there. My daughter is Paulamarie Tucker and Timothy Best is her caretaker. I really need help.

I believe the answer is based on our senses. Pain feels bad and pleasant things are well known. Each of us have different standards of what exactly these things are. But no one enjoys having their stuff stolen, or their loved ones getting harmed. These standards are inherently there. It gets deeper the more we complicate life.
