11-7 are the opening hours during the winter seasons. During the main season it's at least 9-6 but usually closure is postponed to 7 or even 8. But the shorter opening hours are more than compensated by the shorter average waiting times imo. I actually topped going to the park during the main season but rather exclusively in early December.

Thank you for a great video really showing "the Venice of the North" during the summer! Just a tip if you visit Stockholm again: There are several other places where you can have really good traditional Swedish Meatballs in the city. My top 5 (in no particular order) would be: Operakällarns bakficka, Pelikan, Kvarnen, Tennstopet and Prinsen. If you want to go exploring, then you can get meatballs on the Waxholmsbolaget steamboats, or have them at several of the restaurants spread across the islands in our archipelago in the summer. A meal with a view!

Nice job. Personally, when I have family members who have birthdays very close to Christmas, I make sure that the wrapping paper is most definitely NOT Christmassy. It’s nice to make a distinction between the two occasions and just feels a little more thoughtful to me. But I’m probably overthinking it. The tea advent calendar is beautiful. Well worth the effort of transporting it all that way! I’m sure she loved it. Have a wonderful Christmas 😊

That is so thoughtful, I love that you do that because December birthdays really deserve their own moment! My Mom and I picked out this paper together this year but in future years I really should do that as well, it is much more intentional 💞 And yes, I totally agree about the tea calendar being well worth it! We have been enjoying a pot of tea once a day, it has been heavenly. Hope you are having a great Christmas season too!

How fun to have friends who also love board games! Haha I don’t have any so when my husband and I had kids, we started them on games at a super young age and now we have an entire closet full of thing including Catan Jr (my kids are 6 and 8). Thanks for the calm chatting in your vlog; I watched while folding 2 loads of laundry! Looking forward to the Disneyland Paris stuff!

If I remember correctly there is no fast pass at Europa park which I like it keeps it fair and there is also a wonderful water park that wasn't mentioned and lots of other rides that weren't mentioned like Voltron

@ thank you I was there last July and used Uber and find it a bit expensive but didn't get to explore a lot as it was raining a lot. So I'm going back early January to experience a lot more specialy these top 10 minus shark diving and snorkeling lool but thinking of renting a vehicle this time.

Overall, did okay at thanksgiving but had a typical painful bloating flare at night 😢 But thankfully we were catching up on Great British Bakeoff which was a great distraction. 🤣 I'm so sorry you deal with gut issues too, they're the worst. I hope thanksgiving went okay for you and I'm sending you so much love!! Maybe we'll have to do a gut-related vlog sometime lol.

@@ElizabethMcM thank you so much 🥰 we went during January! Ooo tough question - ultimately I think the husky ride was my favorite but it was a LOT more intense because you’re driving it. So if you’re up for the adventure, I would say husky but if you’re looking for more relaxing/enjoying the scenery, I would say reindeer!

I work for a travel company and was on call the night the volcano went off. I worked with multiple groups heading to Spain. Many made it to Europe but couldn’t continue to their destination. Needless to say, I didn’t sleep a wink that night! I will never forget it.

@@user-yi6dm3lo4l we were there in March! It was right before their rainy season! (rainy season is not recommended because things often get cancelled since the conditions can be dangerous)

The Fantoft stave church fire was not accidental. The prime suspect for the arson was the satanist and black metal musician Varg Vikernes. In 1994, he was sentenced to 21 years in prison (the max sentence in Norway at the time) for the murder of a bandmate (Øystein Aarseth), three church arsons and a string of thefts, but aquitted by a split court for the Fantoft fire. He later swapped satanism for right-wing extremism/neonazism. All around ray of sunshine... Thankfully, he's no longer our problem. He changed his name and became a French problem instead. He claims he's no longer a nazi, but some believe he's just saying that to get the French police off his back.
