If they're not on, don't bother putting them on just because. Wear them as long as you want if you're riding that day. When it comes time to take the boots off, take the spurs off, and don't bother putting them on if you're not riding. Shouldn't be a question, they're workwear, would you bother questioning if you can wear your carhartt jacket in public?

This video needs to be renamed "why you need to soften a rope," because that's what it's really about. The actual "how-to" tips could have been 10-15 seconds, instead of having to listen to that automated voice repeating itself over and over for three minutes.
