@@snuffy_tv It’s basically what all the HCIMs that go for blood torva gotta do, too! (Unless they teleport out, but with axes’ max hit at 96, Vard gives you no chance to escape.) How long did you practice normal before being ready for the Awakened, if I might ask?

@@Sedgehun I had about 300 kc at reg vard but that was mostly early on when they came out. I just went straight into awakened when I started going for Blorva.

@@snuffy_tv That's around how much i've had too, with like 80 of it before going for Blorva and 180 after! I really enjoyed the fight and want to do it again, but I am afraid of risking that 0-death ratio, so now I'm practicing again to de-rust and then try to go for 2 kills 0 deaths xD

You guys are nutty. I’m almost 5k kc at normal Vard and I have been struggling with awakened. I’m almost at 100 tries 😭 I just can’t seem to get the rhythm down of the prayer orbs and axe skipping

I killed vard normally 70 times and it took me 19 orbs. The first 10 orbs were not even close. As a main using a scythe my biggest tip is to get a soul reaper axe. Helped so much. Immediately got sent into enraged. And ended up getting the kc that same night. Not sure if I would’ve gotten it with a scythe as essentially you have to play perfectly for a whole other minute on top of the already grueling fight.

Nice run brotha. A very minimal piece of advise could be that you can squeeze a warhammer in with no inventory loss. Just enter w warhammer and book of the dead equipped. Regardless, gamer.

All of these guides go over where to click hand and these basics, but I spent hours trying this and my struggle lies in timing. Nobody even approaches how you always manage to leave the edge tile right when he turns…. Or when to step on it to make him turn

yeah I didn't explain that at all in the video. Olm turns his head to look at you every 4 ticks if you are not in his vision. This is also affected by you doing dmg to his hands which is why having thralls in pretty important since they are very consistent with small bits of damage. A way you can practice the timing is running from the left center tile column to the ring finger tile column (referencing the video, if olm is up on the east side you would be running between the 4 tile and the 3 long tile, for the west olm you would be running between the 9 tile and the 1, 8lr tile). To set this up get his head to look center and move 1 tile away from the ring finger tile. When he attacks you move to the ring finger tile and count out 4 ticks. ON the 4th tick you run to the center tile and back and forth as explained above. Hope this helps explain it better. Let me know if you have more questions!

Can you do this with bowfa i presume? does it have to be 4 attacks precisely as the bowfa is a slower weapon

it has to be done with craws or msb because they are 3 tick on rapid. If you don't attack in a 3 tick cycle venenatis will just break the safe spot.
