Beautiful message. Often we chase what our purpose is when our purpose is bringing glory to everything thing we do wherever God has placed us - as simple and as hard as that. We tend to complicate things.

Happy to hear the word of God. Very well said just a little more joyful and more of your pretty smiling to go along with it. God brings us and makes us joyful feeling and this is very fulfilling to shine especially when talking about Christ. You did a fantastic first embroidery! I had ordered a few to learn how to do. I have tons of hobbies one which is 🧶 and I can not wait until we are settled into our next apartment to get back to things. God though is my first love and all day long. Love your passion for God! I'm praying in Jesus name for you & all who suffer. It helps others as we begin to open up to show others how we suffer but how we give it all to the Lord. Think of all the lessons we are teaching our kids. How you work as a unit. These things they need on a daily basis now and in the future to run their own home.

Waking up an hour before my kids was the biggest game changer for me. Prioritize that time to pray, drink coffee, and organize your thoughts.

I spent a lot of my life on all kinds of medications for depression and crazy pills. After years and years of it and feeling like I was crazy, it ended up being my coping skills and not having Jesus fully in my life. After having Ella I never took a medication for those again and let me tell you this lol I don't feel crazy anymore and it's the best I've felt ever. Natural is always better and Jesus helping you through makes it happen. I'm not saying don't get help but definitely see someone like a counselor. Depression is serious and not doing something about it can make that journey harder.

I think the world in which we live in right now is enough to make even the best Christian feel overwhelmed and unsure of what's going to happen next even when their faith is strong. I have dealt with depression my whole life but through my salvation my bad days aren't as bad and don't seem to last as long. Even though as we age our lovely bodies decide to quit producing certain hormones that regulate so many different things we need them to regulate. Menopause and covid hit me like a freight train, and it is zero fun. So I hope you continue to feel better and use your struggle for God's glory. God Bless!!

Well done 😉 my question is How to deal with depression and keep going when you have a household to care for? Especially after a loved one has passed and the holidays just don’t seem the same. Is it ok to grieve this long even when you know you will see them again?

KC I wish I could put out all the content that I have stirring in my mind and answer all the questions for you but this I will share. Dealing with depression when you have a household to care for is difficult but there are things we can and need to do to help ourselves. Such as setting aside personal time, minimizing our activities to what is neccessary (for a season), allowing ourselves to say no. Minimizing the amount that we have to manage in our households as well. Delegate jobs and donate excess. Grief: Allow yourself to grieve but also know your loved ones desire would be for you to live life to the fullest. Smile at the memories and if it brings you comfort light a candle just for them! Thank the Lord for the memories and praise Him for eternity with them! Love you girl!
