It’s a good thing honestly. For self defense and such. Also, it’s not just about fighting that are taught in martial arts, discipline and sportsmanship are taught as well :))

gam-jeom are still so arbitrarily given. I have watched too many refs giving gam-jeom to one player while allowing the other to do the exact same thing. Such as holding.

It's not necessarily about fighting :-) it's more about discipline :-) if you study martial arts just to fight then YOU HAVEN'T LEARNED ANYTHING!!!!!

It's all very very good honestly, until u face a man and the reasons are as follows: 1. The wrist of a man is not gonna be that easy to grab since a women's hand is smaller compared to man's wrist so it's not practically possible to grab his wrist unless the man is a petite puny punk. 2. The strength it would take to twist a man's hand is out of bounds for 99% women. ( it's a physical thing) 3. You will need a lot of practice and muscle memory to actually use this in real life scenarios But I hope women are safe out there and such self defense actually makes a difference
