It looks like you are using a custom field for lead status mapping. The lifecycle stage field. I was going to ask how you keep the lead status in CRM sync'd with the lead stage in ZMA but it looks like you've gone the custom route. It's unfortunate that they don;t sync and seems borderline insane to not have the data represented in both places but there it is. If you know any work arounds I'd love to hear them! It looks like lead sources don't synch either with makes no sense to me...

I hate how everyone is getting excited over this. Zoho are calling this a new CRM UI, but it's not. It's a new menu - that's it! The Zoho CRM interface absolutely sucks! And when I saw "Zoho CRM for Everyone (new UI)", I got super excited until I realised it's still the same old clunky, old-fashioned UI.

@@drewbrockbank Everything! Books/Invoice/Forms/Marketing Automation - They all have a sleeker UI. I tried having a go at their Canvas builder, but that's terrible! It's poorly executed and I can't get everything aligned and looking pixel-perfect.

Drew, very clear and helpful. In my long experience what matters most (to me at least) for a CRM is ease and speed of working with records and entering data. Do you have a video that shows entering data by mouse or keyboard tabbing, shows keyboard shortcuts, shows importing a new lead or contact (not in .csv bulk) from say a received email or from LinkedIn? If I have a time specific event, Say I have a in person masterclass in 2 weeks and I am funnelling leads from a Google ads campaign into a workflow. Appreciate all the value from your channel. I'm building my first company, but unfortunately don't have the budget to hire a consultant right now. It's a subscription company with irregular billing periods on auto-collection. For this I have to use stripe. Would you say I'd have to create a separate 'subscription deals pipeline' to track churn, or let stripe track it and integrate that data into Zoho analytics? I haven't launched yet, just building everything at the moment.

Hi there, just wondering whether u would be able to help answer a question of mine. Under the field layout section, how do u make it so that u are able to tick a checkbox and the field is able to automatically fill in with the relevant details. Lets say in this case when choosing the specific account, there are 3 different delivery addresses linked to it, how do u make it so that when i check the 3rd box it will give me the details to the 3rd delivery address for that specific account.

I started with zoho because a client introduced me to it. id never had a CRM or anything before so I dont know how any of this works and am really really hating it so far. I can see that there is a ton of built in value, which is why ive kept it and keep trying to figure it out, im just frustrated with how complicated it has been to use. I cant figure out how to make any of it work together, so im really hoping that your videos will help get this figured out once and for all.

I have a question about the integration with the apps: You say here that if you set up Zoho CRM and migrate your data before you integrate all the apps, that integrating the apps later will be extremely difficult, but when I followed ZTraining you migrate the data before doing any integrations from the integrations page. But what was interesting, the first thing I did was convert my Zoho CRM account into a Zoho One account.. and after I was done setting up all the "must haves" last night, I had 5-6 emails saying "Welcome to Zoho Desk" "Welcome to Zoho XYZ" etc. so looks like it's already integrated? Thanks for ZTraining btw, that was really helpful.

I can either put some of my CRM list into another module, or Create segments in MA. I wish I could map a VIEW to MA, do you think that's coming like in 1.0? Any other suggestions? ALso, how did you get all the Deal Pipeleline STages ( Lifecycle Stages you say) into MA if its not a field in Leads? THX!

27:02 OMG Bro. I am SOLD on Zoho One. I've been looking for an alternative for Google docs / sheet.. Everybody uses them but What I didn't like about it is that if you manipulate the documents in the file system (when Google Drive is installed like Dropbox etc.) it actually corrupts the documents.. Plus you can't open Google docs / sheeets in MS Word / Excel ... Dunno if you can do that with Zoho but... I tried MS365 and man.. You'd be better off with sticks, clay and rocks than with anything from MS lol.

22:04 Can you use Zoho Flow to integrate Calendly? Your video on setting up Zoho CRM is one of the first videos I found when I was looking at Zoho vs. Hubspot.. I ended up working with Hubspot but the way you talk about setting up Zoho resonates a lot more with me, especially the Kanban boards and the dashboards.. But the only thing that steered me towards Hubspot is I use Calendly and there didn't seem to be a way to use Calendly to have Calendly's meetings/contacts automatically populated in Zoho without using Zapier or some other 3rd party tool.. The other possibility of course is using Zoho Booking but Calendly is pretty hard to beat.

Hi Drew! Whats the best way of capturing and tracking UTM data to be able to track the journey progress by source? Should the zoho forms have hidden fields that capture these parameters in order to push it into Zoho crm to match it to their current lead/deal statuses? Is there a better solution to this? I highly recommend Attributer.io for UTM tracking for two main reasons. #1 It generates UTM parameters for you automatically #2 it stores UTM parameters in a cookie so you don't lose UTM tracking if someone navigates to another page (and most of the time they do).
