Hello, thanks for your great tutorial. I 'm struggling with the Leads/Contacts concept myself and pleae allow me to ask you a question: I'm working on an integration project between a software license server and the Zoho CRM solution. The goal is to capture trial user (b2c) data from the license server and upsert it as records in Zoho CRM. In a subsequent step we will set up a trial nurture automation, but for now the goal is to get the trial user into Zoho CRM. Here's the high-level integration workflow I'm planning: When a user activates a trial version in the software license server, the system will trigger an event and send the relevant user data in a JSON format. The integration will then use the Zoho CRM REST API "Upsert records" endpoint to create or update the records in Zoho CRM. The user data from the license server includes fields like email, name, trial activation date, expiry date and product ID, My question is: Should I be upserting this trial user data to the Contacts module or the Leads module in Zoho CRM? I'm considering the following factors: Contacts module: This seems like a natural fit, as the user data represents potential customers who have already shown interest in the product by activating a trial. Also, the may already own the entry version of the software and aim to trial a higher version with more features, considering whether to upgrade. Leads module: This could also be a viable option, as the trial users are not yet fully qualified contacts, and the Leads module may provide better tracking and conversion metrics. I'm curious to hear your thoughts and recommendations on the most appropriate module to use for this integration. Are there any best practices or considerations I should keep in mind? Thanks!

Hello! I have a very basic but possibly complicated question. I have a client that brought ZOHO to me as I’ve worked with other CRM systems in the past and this is their preferred system they want to now move forward with. However, I’m not sure how the ownership or admin works if I set it up with my own email then transfer ownership like I have with other systems. Or, should I walk them through the setup process so that they’ll have to initially start with their own email address. My only worry is that they’ll have access to the system before everything is setup, I’m sure they’ll get email alerts about everything I trigger and test, etc. Any advice is much appreciated!

Great video Drew. I believe your suggestions are still based on the premise the consulting services will still follow the old-fashioned way of running consulting. We can´t forget Zoho CRM and other tools are built to be low-code technology which was meant to empower users. So, to me any Zoho CRM implementation should come with a more "educational" approach, because at the end of the day we want to empower Admins. I know sometimes clients just want someone to do it, and that is the point I struggle sometimes when I am with clients: to balance between the amount of "techy' information I am sharing with them and the implementation tasks itself. How do you see this? How do you approach that as a Zoho expert? Thank you

What's the difference between and workflow and a cadence and how do they work with blueprints. If I wanted to setup a a process for my sale team to flow as Lead Nurturing, how would these all work together and what are the does and don't. I feel incredibly overwhelmed.

At about 8:00, what happens if they leave the page, then come back to the page and fill out the form? Are the original UTM parameters still passed through the Zoho Form even though they're no longer in the address bar?
@drewbrockbank2 ай бұрын
Great question! You need to use a UTM persist tool if you aren’t sending traffic to a landing page. I recommend a tool like attributor.io that will integrate with Zoho Forms.

Thanks! Amazing video and tips here. I tried to create a funnel chart, based on your directions. I have my equivalent to your group table. But when I build my funnel chart, even if I select to "compare with first value", each section of my funnel chart is only comparing to the previous section. Similarly, my conversion rate at the bottom of my chart is only comparing my last stage with. my second to last stage. Finally, I didn't included unconverted deals in my funnel, but I want them to be accounted for when calculating the total conversion rate. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
@drewbrockbank3 ай бұрын
Strange. Based on what you’ve said I’m not sure of the issue off the top of my head. I’d have to take a look at your funnel report to pinpoint the issue. Prescription without diagnosis is malpractice as they say.

How does Odoo's pricing vs features compare with Zoho One? I've recently checked out the Odoo pricing page and they charge 25 dollar per month per user for their highest tier. But I don't fully understand what exactly they offer at that price point. I do understand however that they have plenty of modules covering sales, marketing, project management etc. 25 dollar per month is cheaper than 37 dollars, but I wonder if it will still be cheaper once you add all the features you need for your business.
@drewbrockbank3 ай бұрын
I'm not an Odoo expert, but it seems that they offer a comprehensive business management platform. To determine if a platform is right for you, you should list your requirements and compare them to the platform's features. Then, try a free trial to make a decision. I recommend watching Odoo content to see the functionality demonstrated, which can help mitigate the risk of moving to a new platform.
@razcocloud63123 ай бұрын
@@drewbrockbank Thanks for the reply. I have no intention of moving to Odoo. I'm a Zoho advocate, and I always tell people there is no comparison for Zoho when it comes to value for money. And one of those people surprised me with Odoo's current pricing. So I simply was hoping that there was more to the pricing structure that I and that person was missing. Watching Odoo content seems like a good idea. Thanks
@drewbrockbank3 ай бұрын
@@razcocloud6312 Got it. It'll become more difficult over time to suss out these platforms (i.e. Odoo) as legitimate "all in one" business management platforms since every platform claims to be one. Glad to hear you're a Zoho advocate!
