I like the fact that it's only in the episode when he tries to be both selves, both man and beast, that Cat goes back to him, because it speaks to how she loves and accepts all of him. Not when he is trying to be human and only human, not when he is trying to be a beast and only a beast, but when he is being all of what he is. She loves him wholly. Now that is true love right there.

I love how they focus on the detail of how his pupils are dilating here when he senses her coming. It means he is happy and excited that she is here. Cause pupils dilate when you’re around someone you love.
