This was always one of my favorite songs, if not my absolute favorite song, from His 'n' Hers. It's an old bastard of a song (dating back to 1991, before Separations was released!), but DAMN, it's so good! Listening to this (wonderful) living recording, I can understand though why the band stopped playing it live in late 1994, because it does sound very different from how it sounds as a studio recording... Apparently, Jarvis said somewhere that the band had "problems" playing this song live (along with "Happy Endings" and "Pink Glove", back in those days), but when I hear this performance, what it lacks in atmosphere compared to the studio version, I think it makes up for in ENERGY. This performance of the song has so much more BOUNCE than the studio version does. I mean, listen to that BASS and the VIOLIN! Incredible! I also love the extra verse (Painting pictures on the wall / Pretending that my name is Paul...) from the original live version that Jarvis included here. It's such a shame that this was the only time that the band played this song live on the reunion tour, but I'm so glad that they gave it one last whirl. Man, I miss Pulp! <3

Qué emoción!!! Yo estuve ahí, en el show incluso en ese mismo sector, hasta me veo en este vídeo!!! Excelente filmación, muy buena imagen y sonido. El show sin duda alguna el mejor qué he vivido y visto en mi vida!!! Viajé especialmente desde Buenos Aires, Argentina a Santiago, Chile por OMD!!!
