Purchased a bus ticket and accidentally picked the wrong date for my reservation online. Immediately called them and asked to change the date and they said I have to pay $10 to do so. Not the best customer service.

But when the camera isn't on & in front of a certain percentage of the bus operators it's a whole different negative outlook. I've rode Megabus in the past and I am in a power hair, too..

Hello, a few days ago I left my wallet on your bus -- it's since been found and turned in... but you are refusing to give it back to me, which seems illegal and is incredibly frustrating, so I'm posting on here as I am getting a bit desperate. (As you don't have a direct number, just an outsourced call center who can't connect me to a real employee, and my messages to your lost and found inbox are only getting generic/automated or copy-pasted responses so I don't believe anyone is reading them.) On Tuesday I left my wallet on your bus on accident. The bus driver had just gotten off the bus to end his shift so I was unable to get back on and grab it. I called your customer service numbers and frantically begged them to make sure someone would check the bus. They promised me someone would check the next morning when it was cleaned. I got an email saying "When a bus has completed service and returns to their respective garage/hub, a thorough cleaning and inspection is completed... [but] your lost item has not been found." This is a complete lie, as a passenger found my wallet sitting underneath my seat the next day, contacted me on LinkedIn after reading the business card in my wallet, gave my wallet to the bus driver, and then sent me the bus he was riding on so I could know which bus driver it was given to. This means that a) you don't clean your buses at the end of the day which is gross, and b) no one bothered to check for my wallet after I literally begged you to do that one simple thing. Since then I have gone to the Megabus stops in New York, called your call center numerous times, emailed your lost and found about 20 times (though Joanne, who controls the inbox, has only given generic copy-paste responses that my item has not been found, and is obviously not actually reading the emails I'm sending that clearly say my item HAS been in fact found, and that I have proof). It's frustrating to know that a) you lied about checking for my wallet and b) my wallet has been turned into a bus driver, but you are refusing to give it back. You are refusing to get in contact with me in any way -- and your lost and found department is refusing to do their job and take five simple minutes to confirm with the bus driver that my wallet is in his possession. I genuinely think I'll never get my wallet back, even though a passenger found it and turned it in (despite all odds), and that is EXTREMELY frustrating. I admit my fault in being careless enough to step off the bus without checking for my wallet, but at this point I'm looking at it less as a lost wallet and more as a stolen wallet considering you have the wallet but are refusing to give it back. Every single employee I've managed to get in contact with has literally been unwilling to take the time to talk to me for more than a minute. Every single one has only given me the lost and found email (which isn't actually monitored properly) and then hung up the phone. That's actually insane. GIVE ME MY WALLET BACK, YOU ARE A HORRIBLE COMPANY.
