Instead of breaking off the entire front arms trying just breaking out the pinchers. They won’t crawl up any more or possibly cut it. Great video!

I’ve used night crawlers back in the mid fifties and they worked fine . Just put a real light weight on the line and a whole night crawler and cast it out there , leave some slack in the line and watch. When that line straightens out you can hook him .

Why not just purchase smaller barbless hooks? And, as stated already, a longer leader to your hook.....get above the weeds in summer.......

@@MosesMLamthe Carolina rig came out in the 80’s fishing for bass. I remember it well as my dad used one in a BASS tournament on Sam Rayburn in Texas around 1988 in the pro-am division.

This video is perfect for beginners, but the video is far too long to explain what a Carolina rig is and its nothing out of the norm.

OK, simple & easy, looking for better/easier ways to retie while fishing.. this version is good if making leaders, but you can't always pass the standing line, line to reel, back through the eye of the hook.
