i spent $150 on a brand new phone, $15 on new phone plan, new gmail, new pics, never turned on my location. and still got banned within 9 days.

So many profiles with photos taken all over the world, so many regurgitated prompts regarding sunsets, “fostering men until they find their forever home”, etc. and my feed switches from 2/10s to 10/10s. I’m convinced Hinge has their platform loaded up with fake profiles, and they do this themselves. I need to start doing reverse image searches.

I've been banned permanently with no reason given, I noticed over 100 likes vanished yesterday! I have no clue why, all i can think is someone i didn't reply too got bitter and had me deleted. Every time I tried being ‘open minded’ and lowered my standards, I ended up with shit people in my life. Particularly on the topic of drugs. In fact, if you google search studies on drug use, you will see that overwhelmingly people who indulge that lifestyle have serious mental health issues, poor impulse control, and rarely posses the requisite character traits for a healthy long term relationships (such as being able to plan for any sort of future together with other people). They tend to be very ‘short term’ minded, and the concept of delayed gratification doesn’t exist to most of them. If these types of people do manage to uphold a long term relationship, it usually is because of a toxic co-dependent arrangement rather than a healthy one. Aka they're still in 'survival mode' and thinking short term, but unable or unwilling to leave the relationship for fear of consequences (such as emotional volatility or homelessness). This is the worst advice I’ve heard in dating.

Your photos need to look professional but not too professional. Smile, you’ll look more attractive but NEVER tell a woman she’s prettier when she smiles. Men who have lifted for years and take sexy photos are conceited and give the ick but any man who complains about even obese women showing skin and being erotic on every photo it is a misogynist.
