This would have undoubtedly sold like hotcakes and further solidify the Bond franchise on the video game sector like Goldeneye did.

As a really big James Bond fan myself I feel like we were robbed of a truly unique James Bond game experience that wouldn't have tried so hard to match the success of Goldeneye for the N64. Granted I do understand why TT Games decided not to go forward with this due to the content of the Bond films themselves and how they're not really made for children especially with the most recent Daniel Craig era of Bond films being very violent and brutal for the eyes of kids. With that being said later in life never stopped me from making a custom James Bond character in the character customizer from Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy all the way up to Lego DC Supervillians (really wish the character customizer had stayed in Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga)

Lego has a habit of shutting down great ideas. No more Bionicle movies past Web of Shadows, pulling the plug on Lego Universe, pulling the plug on this...

I’ve pretty much given up on new Bond games tbh. I’ve heard that MGM (or whoever owns the rights to the Bond series) have been incredibly stingy with doing anything Bond-related ever since the early 2010s, especially games, usually trying to micro-manage or make unusual demands of studios, etc. I know that IOI have a 007 game in the works, but not only have we not heard anything about it since its reveal, but Hitman really isn’t my thing. I’m more of a shooty-bang-bang pew-pew kind of guy EDIT: As of writing this comment, it’s been roughly 4 years since that teaser trailer dropped. Not a good sign

I’m surprised there doesn’t seem to be a representation for Brosnan. Mind you, I can imagine some secret levels being based on non-EON Productions Bond films like Never Say Never Again ‘83 or Casino Royale ‘67. I wonder if there would have collectable in-game minifigure of Jimmy Bond (Barry Nelson) from Casino Royale ‘54. Aside from the films, if were to ever become reality for us, I would really like to see some characters like Briony Thorne or Suzie Kew from the comic strip.

I'd say after many years of development not only have they had James Bond Sets they could do a no violence take of James Bond without the violence at all.

Now I know I am here after I saw the Reddit unreleased Lego James Bond trailer, and I still say that this Franchise is long overdue for a Lego Game. I mean, I can imagine playing through the Pierce Brosnan era of James Bond and see my favorite Bond from GoldenEye to Die Another Day and be able to enjoy every moment of it

It would have probably been difficult to adapt some of the less kid friendly elements into the game. Judging from this leaked trailer, I am kinda shocked that they kept the water surfacing scene from Dr No. They would have also had to change names like Pussy Galore.
