Surfactant only aids in holding the "water" in place thereby slowing the runoff and allows the SH to breakdown the organic growth over a prolonged period of time. That surfactant is $50?, ....you can use Dollar Store dish soap ( 30oz for $1.00 ) and add two full bottles to 5gallons of water. So on a quick ( 45 min. ) job, what does your gross / net look like when you use expensive products to achieve the exact same result?...Ive been pressure washing for 30yrs...but what do I know...lol. What???...no pre-wet of the lawn / vegetation?....you burned that lawn! .amateur hour.....hmmm. Muratic Acid on the rust...too easy.

What's the dwell time ..before It starts to dry on you? ...would it help, if really nasty, to wet it a second time before the final blast? Thanks. Jim
@washcoastALАй бұрын
Dwell time before drying depends on if it’s in direct sun. I’ve often treated a second time to make sure the Chem has time to properly work. No problem with that at all.

One of the catch to the wood wizard is no chlorine and no acid, saving much more time and much more money in realistic and it brings out the color in the wood a lot better than the acid does

How many sqft do you get from a gal? Thanks

It heavily depends on the surface you’re cleaning. This was about 1/4 gallon of wood Wizard but you can see how bad it was.

Is 2900 psi 2.4 GPM gas pressure washer acceptable for concrete power washing or should I go for the 3200psi?
@washcoastAL2 ай бұрын
Anything over 2500psi is good for concrete. Your speed is determined by GPM. We started out with a 2.3 GPM so it’s very doable. Pre-treat with SH, get you a 14inch surface cleaner and you’ll be good.

Thank you. We applied SH with the 12V and rinsed with j rod rinse tip. It came right off with that setup. We’ve found that dwell time and keeping it wet is very important with lichen.

@TechWithNiccolo3 ай бұрын
You unfortunately can't fully remove it because of the porous pavement, the important part is removing the top layer so that it'll never be a slipping hazard, and then the rain will remove it as time goes by. I've spilled oil and other stuff too thinking I've permanently stained my tiles or outdoor flooring, but it does go away with rain and whatnot over time.
