Great interview, I agree with Callum we do need another national series adding in some country tracks would uplift the town not only does it bring the fans in it also promotes tourism and brings money into those towns, I for one would gladly hook up the camper trailer or caravan whichever I buy to follow the series around gives me the opportunity to explore our awesome country. With a series like this it could also incorporate something like a membership which gives you your tickets to each event and if hotels/caravan parks get on board and offer a discount even fuel servos would be an awesome to run

Great interview mate. This is exactly what the sport needs. Supercars always do interviews with drivers and we can get to know them and decide to follow certain driver based on his or her personality. (Not that supercars is worth following anymore, its a deadset snooze fest these days). But speedway has some classic characters and getting to know the drivers is awesome. We still need a series called "the real brock Hallett ". He never takes his professional driver hat off . I reckon you're the man to crack the "code" to get him to open up and relax and get to know the real brock hallett. He and Lachie are on another level this season. 👌🏻

I love Callum’s idea of a national series. I’d like to see every state get involved in this. But we’d have to work with Darwin, so it may have to start early in the season, or something to fit in with the NT racing calendar. I think it is the perfect thing for a driver like Callum, he needs to travel a bit more with the best guys in the country, at the best tracks in the country.

3 nights per track racing series is absolutely the correct concept. That potentially justifies teams traversing interstate, removes potential 100% washouts, larger prize pools, higher tow payouts, and could encourage higher tourism to these areas where the tracks are, as you have more of an incentive to hang around for longer, not just for 1-2 nights of racing. Everyone wants to see WA cars racing on the east coast and east coast cars over at Perth. Combining, drivers like Michael Stewart, Callum Williamson, Jaime Veal, Brodie Davis would be mad, all doing well in their own states, playing it out nationally would be the ultimate for the sport.

I was there watching it. He got tied up fighting with Williamson quite a few times and Sweet was left to pull away on his own after every restart. It was an epic feature race. Mid race there was a few times where Kingshot and Williamson caught Sweet and even got past him but a couple back markers in the wrong spot held them up (or maybe Sweet with his experience picked a better line through traffic??) and Sweet took the lead back straight away, then there would be a yellow flag/restart and Sweet would get the jump on them again. The aussies sort of got in each others way a bit because the both wanted to be the one chasing down Sweet
