How does this compare to Helsport Spitsbergen? Does Fjellheimen Pro include two set of poles, or is it even possible to use two pole sets same time to provide more endurance against strong winds? I’m looking 4 season tents for ski touring in Scandinavia. Please reply Helsport.

Absolutely fantastic. Wonderfully nice guy, too. He answered a few questions of mine while I prepared for a short, seven day expedition. - How to set up and tear down the tent? - What't the packing size (and weight)? - In what package does it come? A simple bag, or a duffle bag style, or ...?

Vincent set a new speed record for the South Pole, 22 days, 6 hours and 8 minutes. He had to ski 50 km each day. Impressive under such demanding conditions you find on the way to the South Pole. Seems like the modified Lofoten 2 SL also passed the test, impressive as he had very bad weather on the first leg of the trip.

Why do he use the old disconnected model of Lofoten SL and not the new Adventure Lofoten SL tent?

I did it the other way around, from a MLD Duomid DCF (400g) to a Helsport Lofoten x-trem (4.5kg?). Nothing beats the extra space and feeling of safety. All the best Vincent!

A normal expedition tent is around 4-5 kilos. Good luck with 1800gram. I would not do it, but I'm not Vincent Colliard.

I wish you'd still procude those nestable poles as seen in the video. The packing size for a bike tour needs that :)

I've used this tent for 2 seasons now and I love it. Once it's up and you're in it it feels like a home in nature. Safe, spacey and functional. Love it!
