I am a teacher of Dramatic Arts, but I work with high school children and children from impoverished communities as well as middle class homes. As a teacher who lives and breathes through story and narrative I’ve seen the growing encroaching desert of disconnect in youth. Over the last 10-15 years the loss of story and listening and connection through myth to our ancientness, has dried out and with this an empathy and relating to each other. SO about 5 years ago I set aside my lesson plans and got my classes into sitting in a circle with me (on the floor) and I have old them this story. Without notes, just the words and eye contact. Well they were each and every one transfixed. I set about looking for as many stories as I could and the children (13 to 16 year olds) started arriving at class asking “is it story time?!” The hunger for stories was astounding. Needless to say storytelling became the new essence of the teaching modules which links to myth and ritual. But the art of storytelling and the connections- that became the focus.

Yeppi. Cymru here, and alba mix. Just moved to turtle island, and I've been trying to find remnants of the pre colonial world. I'm now studying under one of the last eastern woodland bark home makers. I don't know if I can save the crafts, but I'll do all I can. if not, I'll go back to Cymru and build thatched round homes from iron age pre rome. I have a hard time with rome. I wish they never came to us.

Hawking came back later and said there was never Big bang, he draw it back but nowbody listen. He explained shrinking and creation through the black hole into multidimensional universe and this one we are in is just pulsating through them, it is eternal....read him again. Just Pope is not shaking hands twice to neglect Gods creation on second time, there was never Big bang, just shrink and expansion....forever and ever

Anaerobic bacteria isn't evidence of evolution but evidence of a specific order amongst others things. One could say that the intelligent design behind creation never ceases to amaze how processes that are outside of a particular microbiome can assist a foreign microbiome. The only reason why Charles Darwin thought the way he did was because microscopes weren't around yet so he had a very limited view, after all some of the things whether they where hypotheticals or theories where nothing but racist rants from an individual that married into his own blood line.

“I don’t even know what to call it anymore. At this point is all around the world. My good friend Barry Lopez says it’s the MTV culture that is spreading like cultural nerve gas”. … Yes, I think it’s important to differentiate culture from culturecide. Culture regenerates life and culturecide degenerates life. All the way down to the bacterial level, (Fermented foods are cultured foods, Artificial preservatives create culturecidal foods), All the way up to tradition and ritual, are cultural when they promote cohabitation and cooperation with all forms of life (Indigenous ways). And our culturecidal

When it creates uniformity, and less diversity, When everyone starts listening to the same type of music, for example, and most of the songs are about going to the club and getting drunk, Only having relationships with humans in a very narrow scope of existence. This is culturecide. The culturecide is effective when it disguises itself as culture on the superficial level, And gets its followers to call it culture, So it’s quite confusing when millions of people are calling something culture. But you just have to look at some things capacity to regenerate ALL life versus degenerate MOST life.

Most of what he says is just false. Especially the fact that Descartes would have somehow equated thinking with value. He just jumps from conclusion to conclusion without arguing properly. E.g. his first idea that cogito ergo sum would somehow imply the opposite as well is just plain false. I could theoretically also not be thinking and still exist, it's just that I wouldn't know because I couldn't think about it. I'm afraid that seems rather obvious.

How can anyone study Whitehead's process philosophy without extending and advancing his ideas? Aesthetics do indeed underpin all logics, or as Whitehead puts it. Logic is a subset of aesthetics. I have a photo on my community posts that shows how exactly aesthetics is the primary structure of information. I don't consider myself a philosopher, only an interested human being and that is an essential difference between academic research and exploratory investigations.
