I'd try removing the foot pad and checking the electrical connectors. Something could have shorted.

In my 40’s with 4 children and I find myself going places at night that is usually crowded it’s people to enjoy the location by myself, find a spot to sit, kick my shoes off, enjoy recreational activity, and most of all enjoying the scenery standing up on a scooter,

Yes, in turbo mode if you pull up on the handles when accelerating the front wheel will come off the ground. It picks up very quickly

The scooter is capped @ 25 mph. It will go almost 30 on GPS speed tracking but the display will only show 25 mph. The 40 you're seeing around is K/PH for everyone outside the US.

Hey! Wanted to ask how the scooter is still holding up? I am thinking of purchasing because I am a college student that has to commute around 5-6 miles a day, up and down hills. Wanted to ask you if you thought the battery range would last being it would be going up hill 50% of the time.

The scooter can easily handle a 5-6 mile commute going up and down hills. The battery range lasts up to 26 miles if you ride it on eco mode which is capped @ 10MPH. I usually ALWAYS ride mine in "turbo" mode which is max speed and max torque and I still easily ride is up to 18-20 miles between charges. Depending on your weight and how you ride the scooter, it won't give you any issues doing this commute! The scooter has been holding up great, I'm at about 200 miles and it still looks and acts like the first day I unboxed it.

Wow that was an awesome video! i just ordered the ix4 after watching your adventure! that is how I want to ride, by the way what is that beeping that goes off randomly! plus, how does it handle going up street hills vs off road? Great job on your videos. PS, I bought a cheap Atomi E30 as my 1st scooter and after watching your video, sold it a week later 😅. I am 204lbs 65 years old and still love doing shit like this, hopefully it will support my weight...keep doing those cool videos!

Thank you! That beeping is the auto cruise control turning on, which I have disabled now. It turns on when you maintain a throttle speed for 5 seconds. I think its actually dangerous for most riders and definitely recommend turning it off! It has instructions to do this in the user manual.

Im 5'9 and 185 lbs, it pulls me up hills that are way larger than 25 degrees at a steady 21-22 mph, no problem.

thanks for reply! man you are right!!! this scooter is a beast. Your videos are spot on. The only problem is the red lever, it's so tight pushing it down to fold the handle bars. @@coconuthair if you find that the fold down on the handlebars is very difficult, once you do have it folded down you will see an allen bolt directly under the collar, you can loosen that slightly and it'll make the pull out of that collar much easier for future folding 👍👍

@@coconuthair oh my apologies are you taking about the one near the foot pad. Its gets easier overtime to move up and down. Right out of the box I did realize it was super tight and required 2 hands to push it down, but over time it got easier to adjust

Off Road Pneumatic Tires, I have had no issues so far with any type of punctures and that's with gravel riding and full off road riding. You could always fill the tires with a tire sealant just to be safe but totally your call!

Thanks for the great videos on your scooters! I just happened to catch them today two days ago I ordered an eye scooter I-10 Plus for myself it won't arrive until Friday so I've been looking all over KZbin for it any eye scooter videos that I can see. I love that you really put the scooter to the test most people on KZbin are all worried about specs but most people in real life just want to have fun and see how tough and durable the product is so I appreciate all that you do.

I'm an old man and I needed something to help me get up my long steep dirt driveway when I walk my dogs. I picked the ix3 because of the good reviews and the off road tires. I unboxed it and tried it today and it didn't have enough power to get me up the driveway in the steep spots. I ended up walking up the driveway pushing the scooter. What settings would you recommend for the most power and what buttons do I push to get that power. It didn't come with good instructions at all. Can you help me?

@@TheWhyGuyChannel turbo mode will give you the most torque and max speed. I also recommend once at the bottom of your driveway, loop into the street or sidewalk to gain some speed so the electric motor can carry that momentum up the steep driveway. I believe the "S" on the control pad will cycle though the 3 modes for you

Did you know the iX4 15Ah battery will fit the iX3 ? I'm thinking about doing just that with my iX3...😎

@@DeathCab4Cutie I'm not really sure. If it fits in the compartment I don't see why not. You might have to solder some of the connectors if they aren't direct plug and play. Also have to make sure the wire Guage is large enough to handle more output without worrying about blowing something or melting wires.

Got mine the 1st of May (2024). Not long after that, they put the price up, from £470 to £540. Now they are sold out in the UK... Great scooter for the price.

@@Carpfishing4400: When I checked again, (a couple of weeks back). They are now back in stock at Amazon for £499.99. I have had no problems with this scooter. I'm getting 16 - 18 miles per charge, going an average of 14 - 16 mph. I did thrash the pants off it once, and the mileage went down to 10. It gets up to 25 mph pretty quickly, (limited). It's a looker, weight is reasonable for a scooter of this size. 23.25 Kg. And I can go almost anywhere with the tubeless off road tyres. Recommended !

You will have to google translate this response but the scooter is at its max speed on flat ground at 40 kmh. The scooters are designed and built around they speed they can reach. Any faster than this speed you'd want a stronger scooter designed for higher speeds for safety.

What's the distance from the ground to where your feet go? Like 8-10 inches?

They are 10 inch tires, so i'd say you have about 5-7 inches of ground clearance under your foot platform

No issues with low tires pressure yet, not after riding on gravel or full off-road. Another subscriber mentioned filling his with the flat prevent goo they sell at hardware stores and thats not bad idea so you dont get stranded somewhere!

@@Dezthedog When it comes sometimes its really tight, try with 2 hands and wiggling it while you're trying to pull it. Once you finally do get it down, there's a hex bolt you can loosen behind the collar to make folding it easier

@@Dezthedog if you still can't get the collar I would try to spray a little bit of WD-40 with the straw spray adapter in the nozzle inside the collar and that should loosen it up

hey whats up things i hope never have to go throw your your ix3 1 do not ride in the rain Why? Well the ix3 scooter can get water inside the main battery case where things like the controller box starts to rust ! then OOO yea you well find out that the rear finder dose not work in the rain the tirer is to big and the finder doesn't stop the rain at all it its really bad ! but for the final nail for my ix3 was the code 14 that stopped this scotter dead in its tracks if anyone wants a ix3 for parts and lives in the chicago area it free just got to pick it up ! Last this the ix3 wasn't all bad when it worked it got over 600 miles out of it no joke and it went throw a winter and spring and fall going 9 miles a day 5 days week back and forth to work ! OOO ya every one Please do you self a Favor and change the tires they are nail and glass magnets I got flats lift and right one time it got 2 flats in one week and its a bitch to change them but if u do get then solid tires they are a game changer !

Oh man that's unfortunate. I've had mine for a few months now, I'm almost at 200 miles. I've jumped it off 3 foot jumps and legit ride mine through mountain bike trails. No complaints on my end so far.

You do realise you have to maintain it? Checking things are tightened up etc. If it's falling apart then that's on you. Not the item itself. I've not seen one other comment saying this on any site I've checked

I have one I had to replace the power button and they sent me a replacement throttle switch dont not ride over speed bumps or do any kinda jumping on it the rear shocks came loose and do not hang shoping bags on the handle bars will mess with wires really fragile power switch awesome bike hands down rider from the bahamas

@@adarshtandi5360 i keep a micro fiber and some all purpose surface cleaner, i use Meyers, acorn scent right lol, next to where i store them in my garage, i wipe them down even the footboard after ever ride to keep them mint. Besides that, every now and then check tire PSI before going out on long rides. Enjoy!!

@@adarshtandi5360 It says on the sidewall of the tire, I believe off the top of my head its 35 or 36 PSI, it should come factory perfect PSI but in case you lose air for any reason, with weight bearing on the tire you want it as full as it can withstand. Low PSI wrecks riders while turning.

Can you tell the difference between this scooter and a 500 watt scooter as far as power goes?

Yes. If you have been riding a 500W scooter for awhile, you will definitely feel a difference switching to a higher power scooter. Just like anything with speed or a motor, when you get used to something over a period of time, even the slightest switch or improvement is noticeable.
