It does, but it depends where you go. At Pennington Plaice, it was £6.50 each, which is good value.

Belting video! Yeah, my nearest Pound Bakery is Leigh. Went once, never again. That cornflake cake looked amazing though. I might just sniff one out when I’m in Leigh next week.

Pound bakery’s all over the NW, they’ve also got them in Crewe, Stoke and Wolverhampton etc, but none in Shrewsbury! (Where I’m based) lol Business rates are to high (I’m guessing 🤔) I’m a pie expert! 😂

Well, you can’t say Leigh isn’t short of takeaways. Speedy's looks about average, to be honest. And garlic sauce will ruin anything 😅 The best I've had is Fat Boys on Leigh Road and the worst is Mr Eats on Lord Street. Keep it up, you two! 👍

Leigh has lots of takeaways, lol. I prefer a proper chippy tbh. I like Krunchy's, Lilacs Café, and Ste's Diner the best.

I purchased a car from Timms of Leigh many years ago when they had a showroom on Lord St. I was related to Chris Timms by a cousin of mine who he married. They also had a large garage and petrol station on Holden Rd . The Travis Perkins buildings and yard also belonged to an uncle of mine, Greens bottlers. Enjoy your Blackpool airshow 😊

Thanks for the tour around the town of Leigh. I remember the town from the 70's when I lived there for a few years, the town was thriving then, loads of pubs and no boarded-up shops, happy days.

Back in early 70’s they had a disco in the crypt under St. Thomas Church. Such a shame to see the shambles it is now. I can’t remember the cinema but then again I’m not that old (66). Nice to see Georgian Court my family were one of the original owners in 1969. 18 Georgian court was ours. On t’other side of canal from us was a factory called Tattons. That chimney was Ward And Goldstones which I think made looms for cars. Thank you for the walk. That canal I rode my bike to Worsley on the canal path.
