Theory: No fort appears on the Yoshi’s island title screen, but at the top of the mountain at Yoshi’s island as in the title screen, we see a little building (similar to a house) and in the map for world 6, tap tap the red nose’s fort looks similar to that small building, so the building at the top of the mountain is tap tap the red nose’s fort (the only fort to appear on the title screen)

Well, I've gotta thank you for this. After watching this video, I can tell that you absolutely messed with your emulator's latency settings to make it go so slow in the beginning...or, you're just using a REALLY crappy emulator. Whatever the case, cranking up your latency settings in Retroarch for these make things 1000% easier, so...thanks for cluing me in on that hint?

Visual Boy Advance. After a brief search, it appears that Retroarch wasn't publicly available until just two months ago. Not exactly possible for a *14-year old* video. Whatever the case was, the slowdown happens when there are too many sprites on the screen at once.
