Great Podcast as always Petey. Quality as always and thanks for covering Michigan Amateur Hockey. You made a comment about AAA starting earlier than High School. Your listeners should know that many programs have great summer development programs and also play in fall leagues in addition to MDHL & MHA. This tag on High School only playing 22 games is nonsense. Plus, games are only part of the equation. Good off ice, team building, nutrition, class work are all part of a great programs like UofD Jesuit. Houghton and Marquette are clearly the best. Houghton lost a lot but has a ton coming back. Calumet lost a great goalie and could struggle

Houghton lost the 4 senior forwards that scored a ton But they return all their D snd 3 Fs that also scored a lot of points lat year Additionally, they have a group of 6 more forwards that are going to contribute a lot more as their playing time increases. They could be really good

Marquette graduated 6 3F and 3D Return both goalies Also return 4 if the top 6 scorers on the team from last year. They lost a lot but return 12 skaters from a team with balanced scoring

Honestly they probably need 5 division to give the smaller schools that dont have a hockey lineage chance to compete for a title.
