Boo hoo. I'm playing the world's smallest violin for the crooks in big time college sports. Everyone from the Presidents' to the ADs to the head coaches did everything in their power to wring the bone dry from the players, making sure they got nothing in the ever growing world of college $ports.

Cry me a river. The college presidents 20 years ago had a chance to stave this off by adding a monetary component to the athletic scholarship, and they refused. They were slamming kids for getting a $200 dinner with a booster. The adults screwed this up. The kids used to taken for fools. All of the money that these kids generated for football and basketball, and they got to share none of the profits. The adults didn't even want to establish a fund that these kids could draw off of after their playing careers were over. I don't blame these kids one bit for what's going on now

It's interesting listening to White newscasters trying to place a spin on Louis Armstrong's words. This is why diversity is so important. Black newscasters would completely understand the range of emotions and feelings Mr. Armstrong had. He was brilliant. A master. Miles Davis and Dizzie Gillespie loved and admired Louis Armstrong. Here's what Miles Davis said about Louis Armstrong - ""I loved the way Louis played trumpet, man, but I hated the way he had to grin in order to get over with some tired white folks. Man, I just hated when I saw him doing that, because Louis was hip, had a consciousness about black people, and was a real nice man." Miles Davis also said "You can tell the history of jazz in four words: Louis Armstrong. Charlie Parker." Dizzie Gillespie said “I began to recognize what I had considered Pops’ grinning in the face of racism as his absolute refusal to let anything, even anger about racism, steal the joy from his life.” Dizzy also said "I owe the man (Satchemo) my livelihood. If it wasn't for him, there wouldn't be any of us." I really hate when people outside the culture try to act like they understand the culture when their understanding is only at a superficial level.

I luv Loui, his music was a huge part of my household and growing up.Now im not sure what this is. Its white people not only narrating and edited version of some recordings of mr Armstrong but a very suggested version of what Louis Armstrong was saying. I thought for some foolish reason the people would just be allowed to hear Armstrong tell his story, his way.. very odd documentation
