You're right about staying honest with the yard. Especially when you don't have a lot of choices on where to take it. I'm really lucky that my yard is so easy to deal with, but they probably wouldn't be if I was jerking them around all the time.

Well caught, the irony is that Bristows refused me pre cleared access to their Scottish flying base as the Coastgaurd decided that only they could film and report their heli ops and could not permit a visit by an experienced aviation freelance journalist ! But once out and about in public they cannot stop photography.

The ones I've taken apart had a electrical heating coil. I'm assuming this thing has a heat pump to save massive amounts of electricity.

@@ecoscrapper3501 FYI, on two quite small drill motors stripping the copper out of the main windings increased the value x 3, on a larger strimmer motor it increased it x 3.9! 😁

Love that gold plating - absolutely beautiful! By the way, my yard would take those screws as stainless - there seemed to be only a teeny bit of magnetic attraction.

Yes the gold plating is the best I've ever seen! I'll start putting my stainless screws etc in a tub and then see if the yard takes them, i tend to only take large stainless. Thanks for watching 👍

I think that was a laminator, the heat resistant silver paper is Mica paper, I must admit I don’t take the rubber off the steel rods. Must say. A tidy bench.
