It’s post snow here on thanksgiving I wish it was about 80 degrees I hate the cold! That copper ball is huge buddy! Awesome guy and a great friend! So do you send your boards to board sort or do you take them to your scrap yard? So you get the gold from your boards it sounds like buddy! Awesome video buddy!

Thank you for the shout out, Chris. I really appreciate it. I haven't taken a monitor apart in a long time, but I did always enjoy picking through the goodies. I guess there's no update on the shed. Did the fellow's eye heal up? Last year I borrowed a friend's 20 foot long trailer and drove around collecting things on the 27th and filled the trailer in a few hours with electronics and appliances.

@ecoscrapper3501 I doubt it because I will be 4000 kms away for the holidays. Won't be back until January 3rd and then straight back to work. I think it got me a few new subs. Nobody mentioned it but I think I have 3 or 4 more since yesterday.

That's a great haul. I bought a drill press like that at auction and a second hand bench grinder second hand because I never got one in a scrap pile. I hope they both work for you. So handy for a work shop.

I just can't say no to a bit of scrap either! My shed was overflowing but I've been plowing through it and can now see the floor again. Still got a mountain of "smalls" to micro-scrap, mind!

A really good sized shed, only problem is it dosent matter how big youre shed is you always need a bigger one. Thats what i find anyway.

You're right about staying honest with the yard. Especially when you don't have a lot of choices on where to take it. I'm really lucky that my yard is so easy to deal with, but they probably wouldn't be if I was jerking them around all the time.

Well caught, the irony is that Bristows refused me pre cleared access to their Scottish flying base as the Coastgaurd decided that only they could film and report their heli ops and could not permit a visit by an experienced aviation freelance journalist ! But once out and about in public they cannot stop photography.

The ones I've taken apart had a electrical heating coil. I'm assuming this thing has a heat pump to save massive amounts of electricity.
