Still can't believe the voice this kid had at 14. I'm sure he is a bit older here but he was huge from the start. Too bad they changed completely.

Oh yeah, and I'm using a crappy front panel audio jack because I replaced the audio connector with a shitty Chinese plug that destroyed my expensive 3.5 mm jack. Never order audio jacks from China, because it will take like 6 months and after 6 months of use, it will break into a million pieces when you pull out the plug.

This sounds horrible on my cheap Sony speakers. I really miss playing Blind Ambition real loud on my Altec Lansing speakers with my Subwoofer, or seeing the band live in Belleville. The sound on this video doesn't come close to the remarkable quality I was getting from Blind Ambition's old albums. Thank God I still have all those CDs.

My Band at the time in 2000 opened for Tapeoot , Incubus, and the deftones at the Electric Factory in Philly.... ......I wanted to grab a Gig with Cold so bad but the opportunity never arose... .....I appreciated their efforts to carve their own path during that era of "Nu Metal" ..... For the Record.... .....No one Does it better than CHINO FUKIN MORENO...... and the Deftones as a whole are collectively mentioned as the nost "INFLUENTIAL "across the spectrum of Musicians and the fans of the Heavy/ Alternate/ Nu Metal era spanning the last 40 YEARS.,.... ......Ive played CBGBs before it was torn down.... and that place was fukin literally barely standing up, thanks to the collective countless Band Stickers of yester year's bands that played there.... ...... it was legendary indeed. Lastly, Cold sounded fukin awesome here.... a great bunch of mother fukers!!! I STILL ROCK ALL OF THEIR RECORDS... but my favorites from them hands down are "Gone Away" & " It Happens all the Time" .....well done, Gentlemen. 😎👌😈🤘

My brother saw them in Dallas and had a meet and greet with them in 2000 or 2001. Said it was a great group of guys. I actually shook his hand when they began touring a few years back. Scooter is genuine down to earth dude. Hope to see them again soon.

Hey! lol 11:41 this man is precisely listening to STP's 1996 album Tiny Music... Songs from the Vatican Gift Shop, that's such a great album too 🚬

I know many wonder why the Foos "departed" from this sound, after their debut album from 1995. As i've read many times: i cant blame Dave, but the "specialized media", and the (as i call them) "Nirvana Talibans"; they were constantly attacking Dave's early sound as "Nirvanesque", things like that. Not so sure if sound systems of that era were crappy, or people lacked ears... But the Foos got the same stupid hatred from certain fans, just like the STPs (same BS criticism). So i firmly believe that's why the Foos follow-up album drastically changed its sound, and the name was pretty evident: The Colour And The Shape. Like a change of precisely... colour and shape. Chris Cornell said it back then, after the death of Cobain, that it was like as if the whole media was kind of hating them for even existing, as if "them" were sabotaging everything that "sounded like grunge" after his passing. So i think this early FF sound was doomed from the beginning, precisely because of that context. And Dave back then was someone who was still walking this "new life" with insecurities, so it seems certain bashing made him take that full detour from this early sound. Anyways, for me, THIS album is precisely part of my Top 3, with Colour And The Shape being the other one. All the others are constantly competing for the bronze lol. And don't get me wrong, is not that i don't like their later works, some i love them a lot (like In Your Honor), but after 14 years listening to them (i became full listener in 2010, although some songs i remembered them from even the 90s, when i didn't know who they were), i've come to this conclusion 🚬
