It’s ironic how the original fatalis theme was just a more intense remaster of the forest & hills battle theme and now has become one of the most well know capcom themes

God I hope the concept art of the Steel Fist Wyvern gets made into an actual monster someday. It looks like a Leviathan, so it would make sense why it hasn't been in any game now, but BOY do I want to see it throw down with Brach. The Combusting Haymaker, the Arm God, the Crushing Wyvern and reigning champ: BRACHYDIOS! VS The Rapid Strike Serpent, the Casque-Domed Deviant, the Steel Fist Wyvern and up-and coming rookie: UNNAMED LEVIATHAN!

Whenever I tell people about monster hunter, I recount my story when i soloed one with Long Sword: Imagine two samurai facing each other, crouched low, blades sheathed, waiting for the other to move first. Only the other samurai is a god damn t-rex. The sword is its tail, clenched in the sheath of the monsters gigantic maw. Teeth grinding it to a perfect edge, flaming breath burning away all impurities. It strikes first, you step forward. You catch Glavenus's tail blade against your sword, parrying the attack and cutting deeper. The monster topples to the ground as a sliver of its gigantic tail lands and stabs the new distance between you. The crutial piece for your next sword. But before you cam claim it, the fight is not yet over.

I have encountered people who say this theme is worse than the original... and I don't understand why. the original sounds like one of those meme tracks that were edited to make it so the main part doesn't kick in. and the main part is so quiet that u can hardly hear it over the "background" beat.

Fun fact - The more battle-scarred a male Yian Garuga is, the sexier it is to a female. Lots of scars means he has survived many battles, and a female wants a tough, strong mate to give her babies the best genes possible. So perhaps Garuga's belligerence is in part the result of horny males trying to get more trophy scars to look better for the ladies.

Oh. Oh my gosh. I thought I loved Nargacuga's Iceborne theme before. This is extremely well put together.

oh my god the mount theme does it, it manages to give the Glavenus that thing it was desperately missing, if he ever comes back the mount theme better just be his regular theme, ti's PERFECT

One of the best thing when we're a Insect Glaive main is that we can hear the mounted theme quite often during fights.

I just now found out the changes depending what's happening within the hunt of the monster you're after.

Monster Hunter music could be played in the opera, without telling the crowd, it is video game music and they sure would like it as much as the "Rheingold" (which also is a very good piece).

My least favorite fight in the game. Never beat it with the elemental gimmick, couldn't ever get it to proc in multiplayer, and only once solo per attempt. Only ever killed it once legit and that was only after fully farming fatalis and throwing elemental in the garbage where it belongs. Nice intimidating track though.

My favorite in all of gaming. To this day i still get tingles in my stomach fighting it.

Dude that intro when fatalis first appears is so so bone chilling and intense.

Mount Theme 2 sounds really cool, with the drums sounding like Yian Garuga's footsteps rushing at you at top speeds.

I LOVE scarred yian garuga's fight with light bowgun! Haven't tried it with lance yet, but I'm sure it'll be so damn fun! Absolutely one of the best monsters for well-timed satisfying dodging. Up there with ruiner nergigante and gold rathian for the pinnacle of fun-to-dodge monsters. (old yian garuga though? hell no. I am glad they completely remade it.)

Personally... lunastras theme is best, cant prove me wrong

It's a bit sad but by the time you meet him in World, your armor is probably so good that you won't even feel his lovely touch. He's supposed to do way more damage than that. Tigrex is like that one dish where you've gone too wild on the chilies.
