I use Illustrator with my Cameo's but I have the plug-in Silhouette Connect". I feel that there are less issues when designing in Illustrator and cutting with the cameo

@ I love online labels for paper but it can get a little expensive. I got the transparent matt paper from Amazon and it worked great for an inkjet printer and no foiling. It doesn’t work on laser printers and/or adding any foil to the image so that was disappointing. My preference would be online labels for sure!

I love a chunky book, too, though I use a Stalogy. You mentioned that it was difficult to write in near the end. Do you know that you can fold them back and make them level on both sides? (Did I explain that properly? 😊)

You are suppose to tuck the front cover in the front inner pocket so when you open the main cover the paper one goes with it.

On the timetable in the back, I use it as a washi quilt... any small pieces I would throw away otherwise...in the end, it looks like a quilt! I love doing this!

I used the transparent matte paper from online labels. You can also get 5 free samples (3 pages of each) of paper from them if you want to try it. Free shipping too! Their paper is kinda expensive but really good. Let me know how it goes k?

Hello! I'm excited to see another spring starter! I just got my 2024 Hobonichi and I'm ready to start setting it up soon. Spring starts are my favorite because I never feel like I'm ready for the new year until April. In January I'm still in winter hibernation mode. I also get four extra months to think about my resolution and word of the year. 😂 Fun fact: The Japanese fiscal year (as well as schools and hiring season) starts in April and ends in March, so that's why the Hobonichi has a spring start version.

You should play around with it cause it is so much cheaper and you can redesign and obviously reprint anything you need! I have a cricut but I use my silhouette mainly. Super easy to use! It can be frustrating but any questions just let me know and I will help in anyway possible. Was thinking about doing a tutorial on printables and all the issues I ran into… let me know if you would be interested. Thanks for watching 💕

Hi 🤗 I get all my sticker paper from online labels. You can order free samples (3 of each type you choose) for free to try before you buy from them. I use the waterproof matte and the glossy clear. Their glossy paper is good too. My foil is from Amazon by eco foil I believe. It is cheaper and just as good as the minc foil. Hope this helps. I can put links in the description if that helps….
