You can turn the papal state into the roman republic by changing the the government type to a republic of any kind.

The struggle is real. Been on Arena for a couple years and it seems that the algos are different. I used to be able to get the 4 wins for the card easily. Usually going 4-6 wins in a row within an hour or so of play, now the game pretty much keeps your wins at a 50% rate via mana shorts, floods, opponent always having an answer or top deck. Especially on that 4th win, I generally lose 3 before finally getting it. Keeps me playing sometimes, other times I just don't even open the game.

yeah. i had "normal" matches in 2018, then everything changed. and my win rate went down by 20%. and it was mostly in-game "shuffling" and "draws" that did me in. along with bad matches.
