@@Harlo86 Im old and grew up with carbs so i don’t mind them. They are cheap and easy to tune. With the heat here in summer you need a spacer between the carb and manifold to avoid vapor lock. Preferably not made of medal or alloy as those transfer heat. New fuel has higher ethanol levels so it evaporates quicker than it did back in the day when there was lower ethanol levels in gasoline. That’s the only real issue you might run into. As for stopping im still running factory equipment danger dan manual drums all around with a single reservoir 😆.

@Gjstone508 thanks. Im in cali so it gets hot here too, are you in vegas? Are you planning on upgrading brakes? Heavy car on 13s got to be scary sometimes. I mainly want efi for the self tuning and I plan on driving my car far from IE to LA, San Diego maybe even vegas lol.

@@Harlo86 sounds like you’re building a traveling car then you might want to consider an air ride or stay factory. Once you drive a juiced car you will understand why i say that. They are like bar hoppers. Cool to cruise around town and stuff but they are sketchy as shit at higher speeds not comfortable at all. Not something you want to travel in especially if you have a hydraulic issue out in the middle of nowhere. Idk just saying.

@@jorgieperez2108 I don’t know. it’s not a factory color. I tried matching it with touch up paints from 64 and 63 It’s closest to anniversary gold from the 63 but not as orange. Definitely a custom mix though would have to run it by a paint supplier or body shop have them snap a picture with that machine they have.

3 speed on the column. Pretty common and cheapest option back in the day. This is a base model no ac car it does have power steering though.
